Poshy place with arogant staff
Reviewed By Jana PAs we would like to show our children what happened nature when we do not care about we had chosen the place on the edge of mines. Building is nicely reconstructed but... they asked to pay ahead so we postponed it. All of us were looking for wood workshop but at the time of opening we found closed door. What would you do with teenagers who are disappointed? Finally master invited us but had no clue what to do with our group. The price for workshop was listed for 2-5people/ 129Kc, but they meant it as price for each person. Really we was not prepared for such tricks. On top of it we have no prepared bed for youngest one so at 10.pm. we had to sort out what to do. Unpleasant moment came in time of payment when notified discount was not realized. I was lucky to check the e-mail confirmation and asked for correct calculation. No apologies. We felt like troublemakers and were happy to leave this sad place.

Reviewed By Michal ZThe hotel is in a special place, but it will surprise you with its atmosphere. Beautiful castle building, beautifully furnished interior, super cuisine, excellent wellnes and super staff. I warmly recommend everyone to travel around the spa towns.

a journey back in time to 30s opulence
Reviewed By Richard_w_000By far the best Czech hotel we stayed at and the best food too. Wild game goulash particularly wonderful. Owner could not be more helpful. He also speaks excellent English. Real sense of history about the place: breakfast was like going back to the 30s. Unbelievable value for money. Room very comfortable and well equipped. Surrounding forest very peaceful.

Satisfaction beyond expectation!
Reviewed By EuroKorA standard 3 star hotel close to the border between Germany and Czech Republic did not look that much attractive. But I found what matters is not the look or the numbet of stars but the service and people. Parkhotel Sokolov is literally located in the middle of a park in quiet. I stayed here twice with a group of my clients and all of us were so much satisfied with its great service and kind staffs full of hospitality. Rooms are simply for a good night sleep with space.My favorite part of this hotel is its food. So tasty and fresh enough to make us feel at home. For sure I'll come back here with another group with low budget but sedking quality service.

Reviewed By Robby GPositiv; Zimmer sind ordentlicher Standard, Parkplatz direkt an der Pension, Frühstück war sehr lecker, sehr zentrale Lage Negativ: Check In war ne mittlere Katastrophe, Besitzer kamen 1,5 h später ( haben uns aber wenigstens per SMS informiert. Bad war nicht sauber. Frühstücksraum zu klein.

Reviewed By ingos323Ich habe spontan für eine Nacht gebucht auf meiner Fahrradtour. Die Zimmer sind mit Dusche und ordentlichen Betten ausgestattet den Fernseher habe ich nicht benötigt. Frühstück frisch gemacht, Abendessen lecker vom Chef zubereitet. Alles in allem für einen Kurz Trip zu empfehlen.
