Reviewed By 279moVery comfy little hotel in a tiny city at the border of Germany. You are welcomed by a warm team who is very supportive and ready to share some advices about the trips, sightseeing and restaurants. Our room had access to the balcony and was very enjoyable. The Wifi was strong enough to support video calls and live streaming. /!\ Make sure you don't miss the breakfast. Great value for money and the food is to die for ! An absolute must (proof : locals come to grab a lacks bagel or an avocado toast before starting their day) We'll definitely return !

Reviewed By Route56Had a very comfortabel overnight stay at this hotel, which is located not far from the market place. The room in the annex was modern, spacious, very clean and quiet. The annex has steps to reach the rooms. The breakfast buffet had all the goodies one would want in the morning.

Reviewed By PairADoxCycleExcellent location immediately off the Inn Bike Trail and very good secure bicycle storage . Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Reasonable price point . Great little balcony off the room . Owner/manager was friendly and helpful . Bathroom clean and bed was comfortable. Has lift which is convenient. Right off the city center and close to several restaurants. Town is very picturesque and interesting.

Awful communication from the hotel manager
Reviewed By JfacettiAfter making the reservation one week before arriving and during a 3.5hr.driving trip to the hotel, I received a request from them (they did not explain the reason) to call the hotel before arrive. I did it. No answer. Then when I arrived, I rang the bell in several occasions. No answer. Then I called again. No answer. Upset and frozen I decided to cancel the reservation through my secretary. I called the hotel Forstinger around the corner, and the problem was resolved, but the bitterness with this Stadhotel Schärding will remain for long time.
