Ein tolles Gebäude aus den 30iger Jahren , allerdings ist die Inneneinrichtung ebenfalls schon sehr alt , wobei die dabei sind , gerade einiges zu renovieren . Die Zimmer sind ok , einfach . Das Bad ist in einem guten Zustand . Ganz gutes Preis -/ Leistungsverhältnis. Hoffentlich behält es seinen Charme auch nach der Renovierung. Durch die Nähe zu den Wäldern und Bergen kommen allerdings auch einige unliebsame Insekten

The hotel is neat, rooms are big . the manager is a very nice person and the waiters that served us were pleasant too, It is such a quiet and nice hotel to spend a night on the way or couple of nights to rest &relax

What a lovely place!
Reviewed By nontroppoBy the N2 road (the route 66 of Portugal) this guesthouse is the perfect place to stay. Owned by a couple who also run a hardware/agriculture store. They have 5 rooms - spotless clean, large, pretty recently built, with comfortable bed, Wi-fi, air conditioning, TV, heating, small fridge and espresso coffee machine outside the room. Free parking outside in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The owners are very nice and friendly people. I was really impressed. The location is by the Mondego river and the village named Livraria do Mondego, because of the stone formations resembling books in a shelf. Great restaurants nearby. The local speciality is lamprey.

After the rude reception and handing over £75 (some are almost £100) to two miserable (rude woman) people, i was feeling slightly frustrated. NO Kettle. NO international T.V NO washing machine. NO heating NO directions on SATNAV
