Situated at the heart of the Haute-Nendaz mountain station and the “Quatre Vallées” ski resort, the Hôtel Nendaz 4 Vallées & Spa, superb 4-star superior hotel, is notable for its chic and contemporary Valaisian style, its authentic atmosphere and its exceptional 2200 square metre spa.
Back in 2015, we were fortunate to win a competition to stay at this newly-opened hotel. It was superb and we vowed to return one day. Seven years later, we did and were delighted to find that nothing had changed (in a good way!). This is still a classy joint, elegant understated and well-deserving of its four star superior rating. The spa is magnificent and a perfect way to relax after skiing. The room was well appointed and furnished with plenty of room and storage space (we had one of the back wall views, but that was of little matter!). The highlight was breakfast - I could have stayed there all day, grazing at the buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hope to return again but not leave it seven years next time.

We stayed in a one bedroom self catering apartment. It had an en-suite with a bath and a shower over and a separate bathroom with a shower. The twin beds were very comfortable though we found the duvets a little heavy for August. It's in the centre of haute Nendaz so it can be a little noisy in the evenings and into the small hours but we didn't have any trouble sleeping. Its a 10 minute walk to a cable car and the main bus stop. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk (Coop has a better range and is cheaper). There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to chose from and there is even an Italian in the building. There are quite a few Bisses (walks next to a water channel) which are varied and scenic and aren't any where near as steep as walking up and down the mountains. This was our second visit and we would happily stay there again. One point to note, if you are checking in on Saturday after 4pm there will be no-one there so you need to let them know before hand and the keys etc will be taped to the door of their office over the road. Then you will need to check in properly on Monday morning.

Family hotel in Baar near the city of SION in Switzerland. It was a bit difficult to find it because the address on the booking website was incorrect. We had to call on the phone and they explained to us how to get there. The rooms were large and spacious and were after renovation. The hotel has a restaurant, where we had an excellent dinner. Recommended !! Do not look for another place, eat there. You can see that the owners of the place try very hard to make the guests have a pleasant stay.

Quiet location, yet only a few minutes walk to the resort centre. Sauna and hot tub. Wi-fi throughout. Open year round, individual rooms can be booked on a B&B basis. If all 4 bedrooms are booked by one group, we can offer catered or half board. We only accept children over the age of 7 years old, unless the whole chalet is booked by one group.
Had a fantastic week at Chalet Grand Loup over New Year, the chalet itself is stunning with beautiful views and rooms are big and to a very high standard. The hosts Steve and Karen are very friendly and cannot do enough for you and will arrange ski hire, passes and book restaurants for you. Steve is a trained chef so the food is a really high quality, he is also a ski guide so took us out one day to explore the 4 Vallees.
