We had plumbing trouble and couldn’t live at the house. The employees are very nice and understanding, it’s clean and the breakfast are very good! One of the best experience with hotels here in Norway.

Very nice staff, Clean room, very good breakfast. Long time since I have eaten such a good supper / hotel buffet. Only minus must be that it was difficult to adjust the temperature in the room. Free parking at the hotel. Recommended

Mo i Rana' s fjord camping- Yttervik camping. Cabins/ appartements/ caravan places i nice surroundings. Mo i Rana' s pearl down by the Rana fjord with excellent fishing possibilities. Nice and newly renovated campsite for both old and young! The campsite has 25 cabins/ appartements and 25 appartements. Yttervik camping is located 16 km south of the Arctic Circle city of Mo i Rana, and 200 meters from E6. The place is nicely situated by the fjord, and an excellent starting point for excursions to the Svartisen glacier, and interesting places like the tourist caves, the castle of marble and the coast of Helgeland. The cabins are situated towards the fjord, and you' ll have a great view from the balcony. We have a playground w/ trampoline, playground and a minigolf course. * Summer houses w/ shower/ WC fully equipped for up to 10- 12 people with large balcony and a beautiful view. * New small and big fully equipped cabins with shower/ WC and balcony with a beautiful view towards the fjord. * New fully equipped appartements with shower/ WC. * Caravan/ mobile home and tent places with electricity. * Sanitary building with shower/ WC/ kitchen/ cooking possibilities/ washer and dryer. * Iron and hair drier available in the reseption.
We stayed here during our road trip to Tromsø in a cabin with a great view on the fjord. Cabin was very very clean. Toilets and showers also clean and modern. Prices very reasonable. We sure recommend this place.

We are a small and cozy family owned hotel located in the heart of Mo i Rana city, which offers an intimate and homely atmosphere. The hotel is named after Ole Tobias Olsen - the “father” of the railway in northern Norway - and is decorated with details from the city’s railway history. There are great opportunities for shopping and restaurant visits in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. A short walk from the hotel you will find Vitensenteret and the local museum, the old town Moholmen with its charming wooden houses and the 11 meter high sculpture “Havmannen” - located in the fjord close to land. The hotel is an excellent starting point for experiencing the scenic areas that surround the city. Among other things you can experience Svartisen (Northern Norway’s largest glacier), Saltfjellet mountain with the Arctic Circle, Grønligrotta (The most famous and visited marble cave in the Nordic countries) and Plura (the largest water-filled cave system in Northern Europe).
We weren’t all that impressed with the hotel from the out side (it does need a facelift outside) and weren’t expecting that much but we were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room, though it is pricey for the standard and size of the room. We had been traveling up through Norway by car (we live in Norway but were coming from the south) for almost 14 hours. We had phoned ahead to say that we would be arriving sometime after 6pm as requested in the booking. We asked the man on the phone if there was somewhere we could eat as we were really hungry and looking forward to drinks and food. He recommended the restaurant right opposite (the no 3) but failed to mention that you need to book tables and when we went in we were just flatly refused a table and the guy in the there wasn’t particularly customer focused when we explained that we were in the hotel opposite. I feel that the hotel should have a deal with the restaurant that if people want food they can book a table for people traveling. Besides that, the room we stayed in, was lovely, it is at the top of the building so was really hot and they should provide a fan in the room, as It was really hot that day also. We were allowed to bring the cat in with us which was definitely a plus for us. The breakfast was okay, it was a 2 star kind of breakfast, we ate what we was there but had to find food not much longer after that, it wasn’t filling. Overall though, it wasn’t a bad experience, the staff were nice and another big plus was the comfort of the bed. We had a really great sleep, which was the most important thing for us as we were traveling t he next day for another 10 hours.

Spacious room over two levels. Comfortable beds. Affordable, clean and air conditioned - all in all a pleasant surprise. The reception at Hotel Ole Tobias down the street handles check in. Stayed here with my family on our way to Lofoten.

Camp site within walking distance of the town centre and Klokkerhagen recreation area. The camp site offers cabins, rooms and apartments as well as facilities for campers. Klokkerhagen is a great outdoor area stretching along the Tverraga river. The area is ideal for running, cycling, fishing or kayaking in the river. There are several marked walking paths in the area as well as dedicated barberque areas.
We arrived in the afternoon and had the pick of the pitches near the river, it was my fault the walk to the sanitary block was so far. The site is an easy walk into Mo, which was why this campsite was chosen. It is a very pretty site, the factory is hidden by trees and I wasn't disturbed by it until the morning. The sanitary block is clean and warm, however there are only 4 showers. The doors to each of these showers is outside, so you have to wait outdoors (there is a covered porch and a bench) for one of the showers to become available! Shiver for a shower!
