A shoutout to Dawn and Taylor; the level of professionalism of their service was impeccable considering it’s only a Travelodge. It was clear to see how well they got on and always had a smile on their face. They provided us directions to a local restaurant we booked and offered insights into the area. I must say this is the cleanest Travelodge I have every stayed at; it’s in need of modernisation but feels a fresh and clean environment.

What the hotel lacks in the finer details is more than made up for by the great staff My mum and myself stayed there for 1 night ; we were made to feel most welcome and my 89 yr old mums case was carried up to room 6 by a very kind lady We ate in the bar the night we stayed , while we waited a little while for the meal the wait was worth it ,we had the sharing fish platter it was lovely as was the breakfast the following morning

Located in the centre of Middlewich with ample parking, The Kinderton offers the appearance of a characterful Tudor style property yet with all the modern comforts. Under new ownership, we are pleased to welcome all guests, be it for a light snack and beverage, a home cooked hearty meal or a place to lay your head for the night. The Kinderton is ideally situated just off the M6 Junction 18 and is perfect for local businesses with national/international visitors or for just a short break in the heart of Cheshire.
A lovely modernised bedroom with en suite, huge breakfast and very helpful staff. We were even called to make sure that we knew that dining was closed for the evening as it was a Sunday. When we left, the manager/owner went above and beyond to ensure that we reached our destination.

What a disappointment this pub was. My partner a real ale officanado, expects some really good ale choices as per the Four counties canal book. What a disappointment when wainwright and speckled hen were the only choices which you can buy in a supermarket. No Prosecco or red wine for the ladies. I ended up with a beer shandy. Very disappointing atmosphere like gate crashing a locals party, they were friendly but I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

The Positive The staff member on duty was polite and efficient. She took my money£150.00 for two nights on arrival. I had confirmed that I would be arriving after 9pm. On Saturday while away from the Pub I found an alternative place to stay and returned to collect my belongings. She was not authorised to give me money back for the second night. On request I gave her my contact details so that the manager could contact me by phone. I have not heard anything almost one week later. The Negatives General The accommodation should not be described as an “apartment “. It was 5 rooms basically knocked together at some point in the past but unfinished. Floor coverings were worn, Lino tiles poorly fitted and paint splashed and unmatched. It needed to be decorated and properly refurbished throughout. I was booked to stay on Friday and Saturday night. I was not told that it may be noisy as it was directly over the pub bar ever and Friday night was karaoke night. Saturday was Live Music night from “9 until late”…. It was very noisy. The entry door was a thin, very scratched internal door with the handle removed. Just one lock at shoulder level. Not secure or fire safe. The rooms would almost certainly fail a standard safety check. The kitchen had adequate cupboards but the working top was badly stained. The sink was old and stained. The mono tap was very loose fitted, and not secure for use. The bathroom was large and scruffy. The old toilet seat wobbled. There was no mirror over the washbowl. Black floor tiles were splattered with white paint. The separate shower cubicle was old and had mould around the window and shower door frames. I did not try to use it. The lounge had a large TV set and old worn corner sofa. The bedroom had a cheap old double and single bed and an old black fake leather sofa. The curtains in both rooms were very thin and old. There was a hanging rail with unmatched coat hangers for clothes. The bedding was clean. There was no bedside light only the main light with a cord hanging over the bed. This property should not be offered for rental until it is properly refurbished and professionally checked for fire safety etc.
