The first boutique hotel in the center of Manresa. The central and modernist Casa Padró-Riera (1914), located just in the corner between Passeig Pere III, number 38 and Àngel Guimerà street, lodges the first hotel boutique in the capital of El Bages. The house has been restored, preserving its own architectural elements, such as adorned ceilings and terraces with hydraulic tiles, in order to house a cozy hotel in front of the emblematic Kursaal Theater and the Casino de Manresa. The HOTELET has 7 rooms; all of them with a King size bed (2x2), intelligent television, full bathroom, balcony and / or terrace, full fridge, free Wi-Fi and natural light. In order that all guests feel like at home in this new hotel establishment, we priorize our high quality and costumer service and we adapt ourselves to all needs.
Everything they say in their specs is correct, this is a top class boutique hotel. Rated 2 stars officially, I would rate it 4 stars. Friendly efficient check in, with a cup of coffee or cava offered. Beautiful common room with free tea or coffee (Nespresso) and lovely big room. I was in room 1. Great shampoo and stuff Rituals brand, great rainshower. Comfortable big bed. Everything top. Cheap rate parking close by, just around the corner, I paid 12 euro. Lots of nice restaurants close by. Very good breakfast, eggs made to your liking on simple demand. I cannot wait to go again when I am next in the area, or before I catch a flight back out of Barcelona airport, one hour drive away.

I like this hotel and restaurant. It's clean, tidy, modern, well kept and reasonably priced. It's not a vacation hotel/resort, more like a motel. Easy to get to, and it has its own parking. The restaurant serves excellent dinners, the menu has some nice Catalonian specialties, good house wine. I stayed here last year for Rider1000 (a motorcycle event) and again this year, it was great to park the bike, sit back and have a beer on the terrace before dinner. It's set well back from the road so it's peaceful and quiet.

Just in the way to change and try a new restaurant in Manresa, we were in the turo de la Torre. On Saturday they have a menu and ‘carta’ with lots of exquisite dishes. We have chosen menu and for starters there are 5 small dishes really tasty and a main one, that in my case I got fish with vegetables. For dessert ‘sorbet de mango’ and espresso. Aceptable price after this good meal. Good restaurant eat on it.

I don’t often pick a hostal I don’t like but I got this one wrong !! The location isn’t bad. It’s near the citadel and an easy walk into the town centre - if you know where you’re going - I got really lost to the point I had to ask a policeman. The area is rather scruffy and it’s a bit scary walking through it at night. The receptionist was very helpful but is only there until early evening and not back until about 10.00 in the morning. The bar also isn’t open until around 10.00 in the morning so not much use if you want breakfast. There’s a nice little cafe at the top of the steps though. The hostal was more like an apartment building. You had to let yourself in by the street door, then into your floor area and then into your room. Mine was up two flights of stairs (no lift) and somewhat shabby. It looked out over the square and I suppose it had almost everything you might need apart two rather necessary things - a bedside light and, much more importantly, air conditioning ; my fault for not reading the description properly. The television and receiver box (perched precariously on top of the tiny television) were connected into a triple socket which hung down below the small rickety table on which the television sat. The plugs kept coming loose so, in the end, I gave up trying to watch it. On top of all that, the neighbours seemed incapable of having a quiet conversation outside so I had a most uncomfortable night. This one wasn’t for me

We were mis-sold the apartment. We booked and paid for a room with a washing machine and a toaster. Unfortunately these had been removed from the room. I mentioned it to the reception staff but they were unable to help and said that they could do something the following day, but we were checking out at 8am and needed to wash our clothes the night before. This was a real inconvenience as we had booked the apartment especially for this reason. We were also told that there was unreserved parking, however, on arrival all of the car parks were full ‘complet’! The only place that we could find a space was a five minute walk away. We parked the car at midnight and when we returned just after 9am to get it our car had been towed away by the police 1) because someone had broken into the car, although fortunately nothing stolen, just riffled through and 2) because it was restricted parking (we do not speak Spanish, so did not know about any restrictions) and thought that the car would be safe overnight, especially as there were other cars in the street parked all the way along - these didn’t get towed away or fined tho!...we did wonder whether we had been targeted because we had a car hire sticker on the back of the car, and therefore deemed as a target?!). I asked reception if this happened often and explained that we should have been warned and we were told that even the cars that park outside the apartments get fined sometimes! We clearly said on our form that we were travelling by car, so there should have been a warning about this! If the car Park was not full then we would not have had this problem (we did not Pre-Book as the booking form said that reservation was not needed!!). We were really disappointed with the room. There were bare wires, the shower had mould/mildew on it, the windows were dirty and the floor clearly hadn’t been cleaned - our feet were covered in dust and dirt from walking around the room (we always take our shoes off at the door), the taps were dirty and covered in grime, the shower did not drain (must have been clogged from hair?), there were knives missing, plates/bowls and glasses were chipped, the walls and windows were dirty, the shower fitting was hanging off, the sofa bed had stains on it, and there were no fire regulations in the apartment in the event of a fire. The fittings were cheap and the curtains were so thin that they let light in. I have taken photos of all of the above as proof. I tried to resolve my complaint with the management once I returned from our four week trip travelling around Andorra, Spain and France, however, they have not been helpful and it has fallen on deaf ears. It is against the law to charge someone for a facility that you do not get! My advice - avoid!! I would hate for anyone to have the unfortunate experience that we had! I couldn’t wait to check-out of the place and feel clean again!

I've stayed here three times, when I was in Manresa for the Festa Major. It's always been clean and comfortable. It's not a five-star hotel, not even three-star (there was no air-conditioning, for example), but it's very convenient for the town, the price is reasonable, and the owners were welcoming. I am definitely going to stay here whenever I come back to Manresa.
