Reviewed By Gourmet67_11Hotel environment and rooms are clean. Bathroom amenities offer, like shampoos, creams, being a 4star hotel, is poor. Beautiful indoor heated pool and sauna area. What I have found really disappointing, has been when at the restaurant, full, being alone, I was brought from the kind waitress to a table not yet cleaned where a lady was quietly already eating, and without asking me if I agreed to share. So if I find in my room a book, listing precise rules to what to wear in the restaurants, underlining the fact that we have to be dressed properly for a 4star restaurant, I am expecting a clean table, already dressed up and also not to be shared with somebody already eating. Dinner buffet is poor and at 8pm there's no way to get something to eat inside the property. A poor service for a 4star hotel... Considering that downtown cafes and restaurants are open later. I paid a full pension two nights, and I had in total only one afternoon buffet and 2 breakfasts in the hotel.. Staff is generally very nice and helpful, unfortunately bounded to the limited rules of the hotel.

Wonderful little guesthouse
Reviewed By debra pIf you find yourself needing a bed & you're in this area, this would be the place to stop. Large sized bedrooms with a little separate lounge area should you need it. Large comfortable beds and large bathrooms too. Ample breakfast with plenty of choice of fresh fruits, cheeses, meats, cereals and loads of fresh coffee.Friendly, welcoming hosts and locals. Free parking. It's a little out of the way so a car would be needed to get about. Koflach town is not that far away and is worth a look around. It's also not far from the LIpizzaner stud farm, which is well worth a visit. We would definately stay here again if we return to the area.

Reviewed By Fishybiz1After arriving in Koflach on Easter Sunday at 18.00 and finding everything closed, facing a 2 km walk to the Gastehaus we came across a bar that was open and they called us a taxi. +43(0) 660/200 57 97 Taferner Taxis We were really surprised at the beautiful views from the room. We asked the owner if there was a restaurant nearby and he said there was one about 5-10 minutes walk away but they closed early on Sundays but he had seen some cars there. He left and 10 minutes later came back and said he had been to the restaurant and they would stay open to feed us. He then took us in his car and dropped us off. Great rooms, great service, great breakfast (optional) and great value ! Will definitely visit again.
