Reviewed By RichiieThe room cleanliness was of a very poor standard. I was greeted by a hornet or some big bug!!! The bench tops had dirt on them and there was used soap blocks is there wall cracks in the shower (probably because the actual soap holder is missing). The TV is no bigger than a iPad on the wall and the old kelvinator is sooo noisy!!! I would avoid if possible!!!!!

The townsite of Jurien is the largest along this stretch of the coast and is very popular as a holiday, tourist and fishing destination. It is situated 226kms north of Perth via the coastal Indian Ocean Drive, which is a leisurely 2 hour drive. The modern inland marina provides mooring for a well maintained fleet and incorporates excellent concrete launching ramps for all types of boats.The long, safe and sheltered beach is in front of our Park and boasts shimmering water of turquoise and cobalt blue. It is ideal for swimming, water skiing and sail boarding or to lie back and enjoy the beautiful ocean views. There is a fantastic children's playground right on the beach.The late afternoon brings with it magnificent sunsets which may be admired from the new jetty across the expansive bay.

Reviewed By I613NYgeorgebBeautiful beaches, serene water, both island and beach fishing and varied seasonal flora at Leseur National Park. But most of all a place to relax. Friendly and helpful staff at Jurien Caravan Park and a great choice of eateries from casual to up market.

Well located and Spotlessly clan
Reviewed By C3042TGdona· Property is well located and in walking distance to restaurants hotels and supermarket. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was as you expect it to be, very clean with nice towels and clean fresh quality linen on the beds. The bathroom though basic was spotlessly clean and the shower had good hot water and water pressure. There was sufficient reverse cycle air conditioning making the unit very comfortable. Over all I found the room and amenities such as parking very adequate and if anything cleaner and better maintained than most and would certainly recommend it.

The perfect weekend destination. Two and a half hours from Perth. The Heights B&B set on five acres of natural bushland. Close to secluded beaches. Close to the famous Pinnicles in Nambung National Park & Mount Lesureur Nat. Park is a must to visit. All can be easily reached from The Heights. Enjoy Ensuite room with Queen bed and privit TV/DVD. Lounge/Breakfast room and outside alfresco area with BBQs.

Reviewed By greygrumpWe were on our way further night and The Heights was an excellent stop for us. The host very warmly welcomed us and personally introduced us to our room. The ensuite facilities were excellent and we had tea and coffee facilities in our room, plus there was a very nice communal area with hot drink facilities. The breakfast the next morning was first class and we were well feed to continue our journey.

Jurien Beachfront Holiday Units. 4 fully self-contained units close to beach. Flat screen television with DVD, reverse cycle air conditioner. Each unit has undercover patio with large table and chairs for alfresco dining. Combined lounge and dining area. Fully contained kitchen with all cooking equipment. Bathroom with toilet, hairdryer, iron and washing machine in each unit. All linen, towels, pillows and blankets supplied. Park directly across from the units is a free BBQ facility. A 5 minute walk to main shopping center complex and world class skydive center.
Filthy and Unhygienic- Family with three children under three. I wouldn’t stay here if I was paid to.
Reviewed By tracydH9258EOWe arrived this afternoon with our three small children, all under three. Not expecting what we were about to find, we unloaded the entire car and started to busy ourselves with settling in. We immediately noticed that the place was far more run down and mismatched than the photos online. We accepted that it was more basic than we were lead to believe, but acknowledged that the location was great. It was then that my husband started noticing some very concerning issues around cleanliness. The place was filthy. My children were crawling around on the floor and we immediately got them up, only to see that their hands and knees were literally black. There was dirty debris on windowsills, dead flies and other insects inside the house and one wet wipe of the floor brought up black residue (photo attached). Not only were the floors filthy, but there were smear marks everywhere. On the furniture, doors, walls… almost every surface. Security was also an issue and we quickly decided that we would all cram into one room if we were to stay. Window meshing was all ripped and the mesh front door didn’t even close, leave alone lock. I immediately messaged the owner Bec and sent her photos. We started looking for another place to stay. It was late by this stage and we had three very little and tired children. We finally found something decent in Cervantes and then came the next ordeal. Packing the entire car again, with three screaming and agitated children to deal with. By this time, it was the evening and luckily we found somewhere that sold basic groceries so that we could feed our kids at our new location. Being a public holiday, everything closes early and we almost got caught short for basic food and drink. That’s a scary prospect with three littles ones. All in all, we are really upset. We’ve wasted our first day of our holiday and the stress has been horrendous. You can’t just wing it and hope for the best with a 2, 1 and 7 month old. The worst thing is that the owners knew we had three small children and still didn’t ensure that the place was hygienic. In terms of Covid safe places, this shack had not only not been cleaned after the last guest, but the last several guests. Not good for the spread of a virus in the middle of a Pandemic!! They had the Covid check in requirement for guests, but just missed the basic requirements THEY had to fulfil! Utterly exhausted and upset beyond belief. It’s 2am and we are still trying to settle our little ones after a disaster of a day. The only saving grace is if the owners take this seriously and really do something for us, in terms of compensation. They also need to improve their offer, as it’s not even a cheap option or hostel prices. You really can’t and shouldn’t take people’s hard earned money and then offer them dust, dirt, cobwebs and dead flies. I think I showered for ages when we got to the new place, just to wash this place off… yuck!! Pictures attached.

Iron, hair dryer & laundry facilities available.

Reviewed By dennarenecThis is a fabulous place to stay. Everything you need for a very comfortable, quiet relaxing escape. Mary and Tom are lovely people - and have plenty of information for guests. This is a great place to base yourself. We went to the Pinnacles on the way to Jurien Bay. Will come back August/September to see the wildflowers.
