Not your typical Hampton Inn motel- more like what I’d expect from a Motel 6. This moelt needs some attention to update it to Hampton Inn standards. I’m not sure which bothered me more, the fire-alarm sounding at 1030 pm and again at 6:30 am or the disregard for handicapped patrons. The fire alarm was attributed to a teen pulling it and was turned off. The manager tried to reset the fire alarm at 630 am that triggered the second alarm. Does that mean the hotel didn’t have a working fire alarm through the night? And what if the alarm was actually pulled on purpose and there wasn’t a response from the fire department? Upon checking in, found there isn’t any handicapped parking in front, so drove along side the building halfway back to the designated parking spot next to a door. However there was a handwritten sign on the door stating keycards wouldn’t unlock the door. No other directions given as to where to park. The front desk staff was indifferent and said the door just quit working a couple days before. The morning manager said we should have asked to park under the entrance canopy or used parking on the other side of the building. There wasn’t any parking open on the other side when we looked. The room didn’t have a lightbulb in the wall lamp as you entered the room. No bag in the bathroom trash can. The lamps were rusted on the bases. There was a missing valence curtain and the valence board looked stained. The A/C unit was set cold and adjusting it didn’t show a set temperature. The floor lamp had a cord hanging wrapped around it. The carpet felt sticky. Ceiling had stains and was cracked. One or two things we might overlook, but this was just disappointing after a long day of travel. Beds were comfortable and bathroom roomy. Nearby restaurants were in a truck stop or fast food. No family style diner closer than 10 minute drive. Manager listened to our concerns and basically said the town won’t allow them to have handicapped stalls in front.

Hallways and lobby had a strong odor - mostly smoke smell. If you can get past that, the room was very clean, looked recently remodeled, and had no issues or smells. Breakfast was decent for a free meal. Didn't get to use the pool, so no comments on that. Plenty of choices for fast food right up the street. For one of the cheaper options in the area, I was very satisfied and would happily stay again. It's a good value if you go in with reasonable expectations.

We rented 2 adjoining rooms. Both rooms had a cloying odor that would not dissipate. there was mold on the bottom of one of the dressers, the bathroom vent was filthy, there was a feces smear on the bathroom wall, there was dust everywhere, and there was an unsightly hole in the wall behind the clothes hangers. Also there was a cigarette burn on the coverlet ("smoke free facility"). However, the beds were comfortable...

We can't say enough about how wonderful Michelle and the other staff were at this hotel! Everyone was so welcoming and our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great for our quick mornings out the door and although the hotel was completely full for the WGI competition in Dayton, we had no issues from other groups with noise. We really enjoyed our 3 days and I don't say that often when I stay at other hotels.

My husband were in the area for a ham radio convention. This area was close to where it was happening and accepted pets. Prices were reasonable and the staff was very helpful (even at 1 am) when we needed to know where the hotel was located exactly. It has a Jeffersonville address but is the next exit south of the exit for the village of Jeffersonville. The room was clean and very quiet even being so close to the interstate. It sits on the edge of a small neighborhood near a field. The staff wanted to make sure your visit was good. They don't serve breakfast but have coffee 24 hrs available in the office.

That is what a couple checking out as we were checking in said to us. They were right , but if all you want is to get off the interstate for the night and need a bed and shower you do not need to spend a Taj mahal price. The pictures on Trip Advisor must have been taken before the place was allowed to run down. Cosmetically, bad; but sheets and towels were clean and the price was right ($70 + tax). No breakfast, but coffee was available. Small refrigerator in room, no hair dryer, soap and shampoo provided. The gentleman who checked us in was polite an efficient.
