As you turn onto the drive the castle looms into sight, complete with moat and surrounding park. Inside the walls are hung with old oil paintings. Rooms lookout over the moat. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Good restaurant with panoramic windows onto the water. Food is good and service friendly though could be more attentive. Rooms are well proportioned though a little dated. All in all, very good experience and worth visiting. Extensive grounds and gardens and a golf course next door.

Reviewed By Cor vCheck- in and out fast, efficient and friendly. Staff helpful and friendly. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom modern, clean. Breakfast extensive and good. The restaurant was good, although the menu was rather short. However, the food was good. The hotel is located in Isselburg. a quiet village not far from the German - Dutch border. If you leave the hotel to come back later in the day, don't forget to take the room key with you! The front door is locked until 15.00!

Dicht bij familie in Arnhem en Groenlo de kerstvakantie doorbrengen.
Reviewed By 728judithlWij, 2. Volwassenen en 2 jachthonden, hebben heerlijk en vrij en gezellig met de kerst een week hier gezeten. Bij mijn familie in de buurt maar toch zelfstandig! We hebben er ook een gedeelte van het kerstdiner kunnen voorbereideng. (Geen oven maar gelukkig een combimagnetron geregeld dus dat was geen probleem) Top verhuurders. Met hen uit eten geweest. Heerlijk relaxte mensen met een groot dierenhart! Appartement groot genoeg, (wij hadden kleiner verwacht) goed schoon, gezellig, goede sanitaire voorzieningen! Stofzuiger aanwezig dus konden we zelf de boel ook schoonhouden. (Wat overigens niet gevraagd werd van ons). Wij zouden zo weer terug willen! Heerlijk daar. Arnold en Judith

Reviewed By Irma TDit is écht een super leuk klein hotelletje. De kamer is ruim, leuk ingericht en schoon. Het uitzicht op de markt is ook fantastisch. Het ontbijt is helemaal top, je mag alles bij vragen en de tijd mag je ook zelf bepalen. Een eitje wordt gekookt als je dat wilt. De eigenaresse is een super lieve vrouw en spreekt goed Nederlands. Ik zou zeggen, ga zelf eens een kijkje nemen.
