Beautifully appointed suites, large windows, feeling of an exclusive Italien villa. Parking in the garden is a huge benefit. Breakfast is served in a greenhouse in the garden. All food and drinks have to be brought from the main house which might be a slight downside on the service, but sufficient enough. Enjoyed the stay!

We went to visit our daughter who was staying at this wonderful hotel. The lady at the hotel most kindly let us park since it was full everywhere! We saw the bedroom and the view was spectacular. We will definitely come back and stay here ourselves! Incredibly the lady helped us again when our car battery had run out by getting us going again with the help of jump leads she got from a neighbour. We cannot thank her enough! Incredible hospitality and a wonderful find!

Zo mooi zo leuke en lieve mensen. Het is een oase van rust. Alles klopt het huis de mensen het eten. Het uitzicht is subliem. De eigenaar is ook bijzonder trots op het geheel. WiFi is top. (Ook belangrijk tegenwoordig). Niets aan veranderen. Dit is Italië ??. Perfecto

Our B&B occupies a manor house of the 18th century that has recently been restored respectful of its original features. The house is located at Palanzo, a small sunny village at a level of 600 m. (at 5 km from the lake) that is part of the commune of Faggeto Lario. The town is situated on the Eastern arm of Lake Como, half-way between Como and Bellagio, in the area between the two arms of the lake called Triangolo Lariano. One of the major attractions of Palanzo is the big wine press of 1572, which is reborn every year during the month of October on the occasion of the feast called the “Sagra del Torchio.”The property has 4 bedrooms, 2 in independent apartment with kitchen. The house is an ideal starting point for walks and excursions to the lake or surrounding mountains and the nearby villages. Palanzo is crossed through by the "Strada Regia", an ancient track built by the Romans and used as a connection road between Como and Bellagio. The owners will be happy to provide more information on places of interest. Free parking nearby.
I stayed here for two nights during part of a road trip around Europe, and I can honestly to say it was one of the best places I stayed during my trip. You feel like you are being welcomed into the family! Location is stunning, high above Lake Como with great views. You do need a car to get there, but it is totally worth the drive up the mountain when you get there! Breakfast was fantastic!

Antica Molina consists of four apartments which are located in the upper part of the building, fully furnished and can accommodate from 2 to 8 people; all housing solutions feature full kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms and private bathrooms. The apartments overlook the main square.
We absolutely loved staying at Antica Molina. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy. This was by far the nicest place we stayed in while traveling around Italy. It was so much more than a serviced apartment, it felt like a true home. The decor was vintage in the best possible way. The owner told us that the building dates back to the 1700 hundreds and that he and his family renovated it 25 years ago upon purchase. The kitchen is well stocked, the washer works well and everything was very clean. The beds were very firm which was to our liking. A crib was provided free of charge for our baby. Our room had two small Juliette balconies that overlooked the quaint town square and church below. It was like something out of a movie. The ground floor houses a restaurant, bar and small market that locals frequent. The owner, and the whole small village, showed us such genuine heartfelt hospitality. We had cappuccino's with some local people in the bar down stairs in the mornings and wine with some locals at a near by restaurant in the evening. It felt like every Italian grandmother in the village greeted and fussed over our baby daughter. The hotel is only accessible by foot but the owner directed us to park in public parking lot about a 1 minute walk away and took our luggage to the door with a mini vehicle he had. In addition to the restaurant on the first floor there was a very authentic family run restaurant and a great pizza place within a 1 minute walk of this hotel. It is situated about 20 minutes from Como by car and a bus stops very close by. This village is on a hill, overlooking the lake with an incredible view. My only regret is that we only got to stay here two nights. If you are looking for an authentic Italian experience this place is for you. People see commercials and movies about people that stumble upon these quiet Italian hamlets and experience a taste of local life and hospitality. Before staying here I didn't believe that such experiences had any basis in reality. Now I'm a believer!
