Reviewed By New_friends_GRI was at the beginning of a multi-day road trip and had the opportunity to spend a Tuesday night at this hotel in Dundee in April 2022. For the most part, I had a pleasant stay. I arrived at around 4:30 or 5:00 on Tuesday afternoon. My check-in process went okay. My room (#325) was clean and comfortable... no problems there. I enjoyed the hot tub in the indoor pool area, although it was VERY hot! (Perhaps a little hotter than it should have been, but I'd prefer those hot tubs to be too hot than not warm enough so I wasn't complaining.) Breakfast in the morning was delicious! I did experience a few annoyances, though. I usually like to pay for part of my room with cash and the other part of my room with a credit card. (I recognize that probably not many customers do this.) The gentleman checking me in on Tuesday was not able to take any cash from me, and my credit card was charged overnight before I had the opportunity to give the front desk any cash. (Fortunately, the gentleman at the front desk who checked me out on Wednesday morning was able to reverse my credit card payment and re-charge it at a lower amount because I gave him some cash. The process was annoying, but I guess it's something I have to deal with because of my unconventional payment method. Also, the Internet on the business center computer was down. Whenever I am staying at hotels, I do like to use the business center computers to catch up on my social media and whatnot... but the front desk staff member who was assisting me with the computer was not able to get the Internet to come up. I appreciated his efforts but was disappointed that this function was not available during my stay. Lastly, the room right next to me had some very loud guests late at night as I was trying to sleep. I had fallen asleep but then woke up at around 11:30 p.m. due to their noise. I called the front desk, and the gentleman came up to ask my neighbors to be quiet. Eventually, I fell back asleep... and this is not the fault of the hotel itself but is more a reflection on the patrons who might choose to stay here. I appreciated the staff member's efforts to get them to be quiet. Despite the annoyances I encountered, I did have a pleasant stay altogether. This is an older property but it's kept up fairly well.

Our hotel is 58 rooms on two floors and does not have an elevator. Please request a 1st floor room if you have issues with stairs and we will try to accommodate you.

Older, but comfortable bed
Reviewed By themellowmooseWe were in town for a funeral. The hotel staff friendly, accommodating. The hotel was quiet, room clean, bed seemed to be new and after driving for eighteen hours we slept comfortably. Read other reviews about peeling wallpaper, but the room was clean and we weren't there for the wallpaper.

POOL WAS SHUT DOWN due to maintenance!
Reviewed By wendy212121Would have been nice to know up front that their pool was closed due to maintenance. That was the whole point of our trip with our kids. We would have never stayed here had they told us up front. Disappointing!!!!
