“Rude employees, dirty hotel, rotting food for breakfast”. What more can be said? How can you run a hotel where the employees hide in the office and leave the front desk empty? The front office person was hiding in the office playing games on her phone while customers wanting help wait at the desk. There was mold and mildew in the room. There were yellow spots on the bathroom walls. For breakfast, that we paid for with our room, there were rotting bananas and oranges The machines for the fresh juice and the pancakes/waffles were out of order. There was a supply of bread to eat with jelly or cream cheese, hard, stale cinnamon rolls, and gross overcooked eggs. Essentially we paid for breakfast that was not edible. McDonalds breakfast would have been better. A tent would have been cleaner and quieter and a used car salesman would have been nicer and provided more respectable service.

Rm 205 / 08/21 - Landscaping looked awful.... dead bushes, parking lot had weeds growing in it! No clean-up at all outside. Hallways dirty spots on carpet and musty smelling. Room same /damp... curtain sheer in room hanging down on one end.... Bed skirt was NASTY.. spills of something all over skirt :( ..... due to covid there is no hot fresh breakfast as advertised, at least say that during making of reservation. I had 2 rooms reserved that night. Talked to Manager about issues... He said he'd comp one room $235.00..... checked out next morning "he's not there, girl can't comp".... get home, He charged me full amount for both rooms. Only 2 Hotels in town... what a racket!! This is a $99 a night Hotel....... not a $199 as they try and pass it of as on Internet. I traveled for 40 years / 31 yrs with Merck.

Lucky Arrow sits on 15 acres of pure Texas Hill Country beauty on the outskirts of Dripping Springs. Take in the scenic views while staying in premier lodging options, unlike any other hotel or retreat. From our cabins to our famous yurts, our room options are designed with the perfect combination of rustic charm & modern aesthetics
PRO: Good interior decoration. CONS: Poor management, poor service and communication, unpleasant noise from Air Conditioning. We booked a Lucky Arrow cabin via Trip.com. Shortly after the completion of payment, we received a confirmation email from Trip.com with a receipt attached. "Please show your confirmation number and PIN number to the reception." " Check-in after 16:00." " 2- person breakfast included." We later found out that none of this information was correct. (1) When we arrived at Lucky Arrow Retreat around 7pm, there was no reception to be found and we were trapped outside a closed gate. We tried the PIN number from the email, it turned out to be incorrect. I called Lucky Arrow a total of 8 times and sent a message to an "assistance number" printed on the lock of the gate. No one answered the phone. We were stuck outside the gate for 20 minutes and very frustrated. While we waited, there was no reply back from Lucky Arrow. We almost drove to Austin to find somewhere else to stay. We eventually got a text message back asking our names and gave us the instruction of how to unlock the main gate and our reserved cabin. After we got past the main gate, we found there was literally nobody managing the property. We did not feel safe staying here due to the lack of any assistance from them if there is any emergency going on during our stay. (2) There was no breakfast despite what was advertised. (3) The exit gate remained OPEN when we were leaving after self check-out. It appears that anyone can drive in from that exit gate which gives the guests no privacy and makes the place unsafe. The Lucky Arrow Retreat needs a lot of improvement in communication, as we did not receive any information regarding the check-in procedure and it was difficult to contact any staff during our stay.

Beautiful suites in the Texas Hill Country! Cottages with rustic charm and all the comforts you'll love! Cushy beds, lovely linens, country views. In the morning, a Keurig coffee bar is stocked with all the goodies to go with it. Beautifully furnished! WIFI, minutes away from historic downtown, multiple venues, lovely Wimberley and Fredericksburg, as well as bustling Austin, Texas!
I decided to stay at the Alexander while I was in the area on a business trip and I have to say I enjoyed it very much. It was quiet and relaxing and I loved the open feel of the property. It's convenient to town and was a short drive from my office in Driftwood. Just one note, the shower is designed with small rocks lining the floor and walls (see photo) which can be rough on the feet so I'd recommend taking some shower shoes with you if you're going to stay here. Nice place and I would definitely stay here again in the future.
