The staff and the direction would like to welcome you.

Reviewed By Mutiara_TobyThis lonesome biker rode into Die in the late afternoon, with the plan of spending a night there, but not knowing where to go... not many hotels to be seen, and even less which would offer a secure parking for the loyal motorcycle. The streets led him to the central square, where a few friendly looking cafés were ready to quench his thirst first... it had to be a beer, standing at the bar with the locals. Premium bikes immediately became the topic of choice. As it turned out, there was the Hotel des Alpes in the heart of the old town, just round the corner, with a large garage for motorcycles located in the basement of a medieval mansion, being kept safely locked at all times. Et voilà! Room check-in and bike parking went like a breeze, thanks to the lovely owners, husband & wife, who at the same time recommended a few twisty mountain roads for tomorrow's ride. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were dining options offering value for money within a short walking distance from the hotel. Wifi in the room was good, so was the sleep. Breakfast served at the hotel had all the stuff required for a brilliant start of the day,

Much too expemsive for what it is

But... unfortunately the comfort is very very minimal in this non-renovated old fashioned hotel, located on a busy and noisy road. rooms are small and very very basic - no trash bin, no kettle... Room rates are determined on the basis of the demand - high demand / high price... and not based on the quality of the offer which in this case is quite poor

Reviewed By bluerogWhat a wonderful location. A view of the Eiffel Tower is a few steps outside the door. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They went the extra step of placing a reservation for a lovely dinner at a walkable distance restaurant. The bed was comfortable and bathroom recently remodeled, large, and beautiful. The downside was everything felt cramped. They did what they could with the small space on the block I suppose. If you’re there to sleep and shower – then see the city – it’s perfect. Note: The photo was taken on the same street as the hotel.

A Bed and Breakfast in an 18th-century town house, with large rooms overlooking the garden or market square, a stone's throw away from the Cathedral. Breakfast is served by your host on the ground floor, or in the garden in the summer months. The host is a connoisseur of the Diois region and will be more than happy to help you plan your stay over breakfast in order for you to make the most of discovering the regions treasures. Minimum stay of 2 nights to have time to meet, to exchange ... Reduced price from three consecutive nights : 5 euros less per night. One night exceptionally for walkers of the Sentier des Huguenots.
A perfect stay

We stayed three nights in his charming establishment, in an incredibly comfortable en suite room with shuttered windows overlooking the mountains. The accommodation is beautifully simple and spacious with lovely touches, such as the kettle and home-grown herbal teas (we recommend his verveine). We breakfast each morning in his lovely garden, feasting on a range of baked goods, home-made jams and delicious coffee...plus yoghurt, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds. Superb value. Die itself was a revelation - a gorgeous, medieval town, mostly pedestrianised and with a thriving arts and music scene. Contrary to our plans to just use it as a base to explore Vercors, we spent much of our time exploring the hidden delights of Die.

Reviewed By RitaAM MIl n’y a que du bien à dire sur ce lieu et sur Christiane qui nous accueille si bien. Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Nous avons rarement eu un lit si confortable et les salles de bain sont très bien agencées. La douche est juste parfaite. La décoration et l’aménagement montrent un goût sûr et sont autant d’échos de la vie aventureuse de notre hôte. Le petit déjeuner offre tout ce qu’on peut souhaiter de salé et sucré: croissants excellents, pain, picodon et pâté local, confiture faite maison et miel délicieux. Tous ces produits sont locaux et bio. Notre hôtesse est d’excellent conseil et Nous avons fait grâce à elle de très belles promenades autour de la ville de Die. Alors, si vous cherchez une très bonne adresse à Die offrant accueil, calme, confort et tout cela à deux pas des petites places principales de la ville et de la cathédrale, cette maison d’hôtes est faite pour vous. Le prix de 80 € est très correct au regard des prestations. Encore merci à Christiane d’avoir participé à faire de ce séjour un moment si particulier?

Stille behageligt sted - uden larm.
Reviewed By Lars SVi boede på Le Vercors Park i 14 dage og blev mødt med venlighed fra personalet. Stedet ligger dejligt stille kun 2 min. Gang fra centrum og har en god swimmingpool med liggestole og er rent og velholdt. Lejlighederne har en god teresse og mange med udsigt til bjergene. Behøver man ikke megen service og hjælp fra de ansatte, da receptionen lukker i middagsperioden er det helt klart et sted, som anbefales. Vi kommer gerne igen.
