Clean Hotel, very quiet night, poor kitchen performance. French spoken only.
Reviewed By J ANice, old building, situated at main street that has very little traffic in the evening. Quite nights are possible. Friendly staff that speaks only french also the village is situated between Germany (40km) and the province Flanders that speaks Netherlands and English. The restaurant has a very small variety of dishes, mostly pizza and pasta. We tried both and ended the meals disappointed. What is the problem to cook a simple but delicious pasta main course with fresh vegetables and a balanced sauce. Both, pizza and pasta are at the very end of taste and chef ambitious.

Quiet room, had a good night's rest. Awkward bathroom. No breakfast was served, some biscuits are available in the room. A different experience.

Brilliant Spa
Reviewed By clairecassWe had a fantastic stay at Chateau des Thermes. We arrived at 11 o’clock (3 hours before check in) and expected to be given a locker, however we were able to get into our room straight away. The room was fantastic, very spacious, French doors to given plenty of light and fresh air and a free mini bar. The spa itself is excellent, large outdoor pool, indoor pool, numerous jacuzzis and saunas and, our favourite, the musical bath. The setting was beautiful and there were many outdoor seating areas. We visited in August and both days were quiet. Dinner was 3 courses for €45 and I can’t recommend it enough. My husband thinks the iberico pork was the best meal he has ever had. The best thing about the hotel is the fact you can use the spa for the whole day you check in and out meaning the price is quite a bargain. There is a nice sculpture park outside the hotel, for a stroll and it is easily accessible from Leige via public transport (30 mins by bus from the station). Cannot recommend it enough and we will be frequent visitors!

Uncomfortable beds, poor soundproofing
Reviewed By IndigoVioletFor a lower price this might be an acceptable option, but not 135 euros a night! The soundproofing is minimal - we were kept awake by persistent perambulation in the apartment above us, and occasional noises from elsewhere in the block. The (single) beds are small and uncomfortable, the (synthetic) duvets are like sleeping under a large sandwich and the bedding is cheap and, gasp, full of bobbles. It all feels cheap and, not very, cheerful. We found dirty plates in the drawer hidden under the clean plates. Some of the cutlery similar. There's a long list of 'fines' for transgressions including not taking the rubbish out. On the plus side, there's a car park.

Un accueil chaleureux et aux petits soins... un endroit propre et moderne... bain à bulles dans la chambre... piscine, sauna et jacuzzi dans le jardin... parking facile... resto avec excellent rapport qualité/prix à proximité... et le tout pour un prix très attractif. Vraiment un moment parfait! ☺️??

une nuit au calme
Reviewed By jm_georgeInvités chez des amis, nous avions réservé une chambre d'hôtes proche pour éviter les trajets... A l'heure prévue, nous avons été accueillis très aimablement. Le cadre est très bien, très neuf, très propre. La chambre était impeccable. La literie également. Le restaurant "jardins des bégards", juste en-dessous, est très actif le soir, mais le bruit dans la chambre était très très atténué, bref on s'est endormis tôt et sans souci. Petit-déjeuner copieux et impeccable aussi. On recommande. Attention la chambre (avec pt déj) coûte de l'ordre de 100€/ nuit.
