Reviewed By Lee COutstanding hotel... situated in the mountains slightly you get an outstanding view over the nearby villages and the river Rhine. The staff were totally devoted to making the stay the best it could be. The rooms were cozy and very comfortable with a balcony that enhanced the great views. The standard and variety of food available was spectacular, offering a number of local dishes and house specials. A truly fantastic hotel.

Reviewed By charlyswWe were here for a weekend and stayed in a guest apartment. To access the apt you need to go up two rather narrow staircases, so you better have good knees.... Service is super friendly and always helpful. The location is great. Really liked staying there.

The historic Sayn district offers many sightseeing attractions, including Sayn Palace, Sayn Castle, the butterfly garden, Sayn Abbey and Sayn Hut. Furthermore, only about 2.5 km away from the "Waldgasthof Friedrichsberg" is the largest zoo in Rhineland-Palatinate, the "Neuwieder Zoo". The proximity to Koblenz, the tourist town at the German Corner (approx. 14 km) where the Federal Horticultural Show took place in 2011, also makes a stay at the "Waldgasthof Friedrichsberg" interesting.

Reviewed By J8176BQglennmDas Hotel liegt am Waldrand von Bendorf Sayn Sehr abgelegen. Die Rezeption hat nur von 14:00 bis 19:00 geöffnet. Es gibt zwei Hotels. Im Unteren gibts das Frühstück, dazu später. Im oberen Hotel, das ca 500m weg ist !!Man kann dort nicht zu Essen kaufen bzw. gibt es im Haupthaus einen Automaten. Die Zimmer werden nicht immer gemach , auch wenn das Cleanschild draußen an der Tür hängt. Um frische Handtücher muss man sich Scheinselbständigkeit bemühen. So , die Frühstücks Teller werden mit der Hand abgewaschen. Und mit ein und dem selben LAPPEN.
