Our typical Andalusian flats are new building apartments (opening June, 2013). They can accommodate 2-4 people. They are equipped with 2 bedrooms, one of them with double bed and they other one with two single beds (you can add an optional third bed); living room; kitchen; bathroom and a spacious balcony, where you will enjoy the unforgettable sunsets and the wonderful sights to the mountain. With our premium-class facilities, our intention is to offer you the most comfortable stay. The kitchen features: fridge, freezer, oven, 2 burners, coffee maker, toaster and all the household items needed. Bedclothes, towels, air conditioning, heating, TV and Wi-Fi are also included. Furthermore, we provide private parking next to the apartments for FREE.
These lodges were very comfortable and central to what we wanted to do. We went to Spain to see the vultures and were not disappointed at all with our location. The apartment had everything you would need. The beds were memory foam mattresses so we had the best sleep. The complex of ten lodges had amazing views of the mountains. Ronda is a short drive away with aldi there you could get whatever you needed. The day after we got to Benaojan there was a horrendous storm with torrential rain thunder and lightening, but the lodge was a perfect retreat from the weather. The lady who managed the lodges was very helpful and has a little english she was lovely. Would definitely go back. The only downside is the road up to the lodges which are a series of steep hairpin bends and I don't know what it would be like in the summer when it is busier as there is not much room to pass another car.

Hotel Molino Cuatro Paradas is a charmingly restored flour mill located just outside the popular village of Benaojan on the banks of the river Guadiaro. It has recently been converted into a comfortable country hotel with a variety of accommodation options. The hotel is the perfect location to explore the mountains and white villages of the Serrania de Ronda and enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife in the adjacent national parks of Sierra de Grazalema and Sierra de las Nieves.
Hotel Molino Cuatro Paradas was the first of five hotels/hostals we stayed while walking a section of the Gran Senda de Malaga (Ronda to Casares) in June 2021. We arrived very hot and tired after walking in 30+ degrees and carrying our packs but Philip and Suzanne provided a very warm welcome and our first floor room was clean and cool with views over the river. Rural tourism has been very badly hit by Covid and although the hotel was not really open during the week, Philip kindly allowed us to stay to facilitate our linear walk. We were the only guests and much too tired to walk back up into the village to find food. Philip rustled up a meal for us while we sat on their amazing terrace and watched an incredible variety of wildlife - half a dozen wild boar drinking in the river, ibex and vultures on the mountain tops, lazy barbels slowly moving up river and lots of birds. The next morning before we headed off, we walked 10 minutes up river to El Cueva de Gato which looks a lovely spot to spend the day with a picnic. We would love to visit again when we have time to relax, explore the local area and bring some binoculars.

We booked in this expensive hotel, but we were not informed in advance of the inconvenience, disruption, noise level at night due to a film crew making a film. Had we been warned in advance we would have changed the dates of our stay. When we complained as to the fact that the hotel should not have taken our booking on the days in question, we were offered one night stay free of charge. We travelled a bit far and staying one night would not be satisfactory as apart from long distance travel, we would have had to register in the hotel at 3pm and left the next morning by 11am. Hardly worth the bother. When raised the issue with the hotel proprietor, Miguel, he was not helpful, arrogant and patronising and would not at least give us 2 nights stay to compensate for long distance travel. The hotel is badly run, apart from breakfast and room cleaning there is no staff all queries on line! If you do not wish to use your smart phone to open you room, etc, don’t stay in this hotel. Not value for money with limited service although advertised as relaxing, peaceful and ‘atuned’ with nature, the hotel is very unsympathetic and visitors to the cave opposite means continuous disruption. Save your money and don’t stay in this hotel.
