The right point in everything,th no salty,no fatty, just the right point, the delicious chicken and the Charlotte's pate excellent alone or combined with the tasty rose sauce. Simply Marvellous. If you want to explore real Frajce then you should go to Ralais Saint Louis Hotel in Belleme, is a beautiful place to get away from crowded Paris. It will for sure recharge you with good energy. Thanks to the owner he was extremely attentive and also the Chef Sylvain: Amazing food! Thanks! And the rest of the staff.I Really enjoyed my stay in spite of the weather because it's really rainy in February, but summer or spring most be a delightful season to go and enjoy of the warmth of Hotel Ralais Saint Louis and the magic of its kitchen and of the whole environment!

Restaurant shut!!!!! No notice
Reviewed By Germaine WAbsolutely gutted we had drive for four hours to get here, looking forward to a nice meal with our two children. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was shut for two weeks, we had not been informed of this!!!! Then tried all the restaurants in the area...all were full or shut. 40 minute round trip to get a disgusting McDonald’s for our very hungry children as that was the only option. Really really angry and upset. Will not be returning.

Reviewed By lolita dNous avons réservé un peu par hasard la Belleme bleue, situé dans un charmant village. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le couple qui gère les chambres d’hôtes. Il est proche des sentiers pour randonner ce qui est fort appréciable. L’espace epicerie/traiteur qu’ils proposent le soir est très qualitatif et efficace: le tout avec un bon vin dans la salle commune - vous pouvez meme y emprunter des jeux de sociétés. Les chambres sont vraiment impeccables, super literie et draps en lin, la douche a même une option hammam! Enfin la déco globale est vraiment travaillée avec gout, on s’y est senti très bien et nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Reviewed By Charlotte702We recently stayed at one of these apartments and I'm amazed by everyone's positive reviews though I note some are from years ago. We paid a good amount of money for two rooms, kitchenette and two bathrooms. Where do I start??! It was unclean. One bathroom had damp and mould going up the walls, one of the showers didn't work properly and was so hot it was dangerous, neither of the inbuilt hairdryers worked, there wasn't even soap in the on-the-wall pump or tissues in the on-the-wall tissue holders! I know those last two points sound minor but it just highlights the total lack of care and attention to detail let alone the more major points of damp, dangerous shower. The rooms smelt of damp and mildew and the view opposite was a derelict building about to fall down with a massive DANGER sign on a board (this was actually on the same site) and it was really quite alarming considering they encourage families to stay on site. I could go on and on. It was a truly terrible stay and I'm sorry we ever considered Les Belleme Golf Apartments. I would suggest you don't make the same mistake.

Reviewed By Ejm69We were here for 4 nights but it was a bit disapointing. You can not sit outside (no terrace). This location needs a remake and some people to bring it to life. The swimmingpool needs maintance and inside the house it was not cosy at all.

Reviewed By Peter MWe have stayed at the Chateau de la Grand Maison 3 or 4 times before under its previous ownership. The chateau still has very comfortable, well equipped, sumptuous bedrooms and fascinating public rooms which the new owners seem to be decorating in a style that very much suits the place. There are still the silk table cloths and bed covers, large fluffy bath towels (unusual in France), free WiFi, the lovely trees in the garden and bread at breakfast of the highest quality. The staff member who greeted us and left us quite alone overnight (this might be an unsettling experience for some guests) was welcoming as was the Madam who served us breakfast (adequate but not very imaginative). Our room (the green one) was also nicely cool after our week's experience of France's heatwave. But I sorely missed the experience of returning in the dusk from a restaurant, recommended and booked by the owner, for him to emerge from the basement kitchen and to insist on sharing one or more petit digestifs with us. Then next morning his delightful wife insisting we had egg with our breakfast as we selected from a table groaning with home-made jams, bread, pastries, fruit etc. Then further insisting we took what we wanted from the table for our picnic lunch. So the chateau is still well worth a visit and I/we will return. The challenge for the new owner is to find a way to restore some of the missing sumptuous magic which the previous owners brought to this lovely old house.

Vous y apprécierez l'atmosphère calme et reposante qui fait de notre camping un espace de tranquilité et un lieu de vacances propice au bien être de toute la famille. Vous recherchez un endroit calme, au milieu de la verdure, alors venez vous mettre au vert et faire connaissance avec les richesses patrimoniales, gastronomiques et humaines de notre belle région du Perche...
Nice little site but expensive Lodge (safari tent!)
Reviewed By Louise VBooked at fairly short notice. Positives - nice little site In beautiful friendly town. lovely municipal swimming pool (free for campsite users with wristband). Tent has everything you need with very nice bathroom! negatives (for us at least) - tent (and it is a tent not a lodge as has canvas sides) is very very shaded and on a rainy damp day in Normandy, a little more light and heat in the tent would help. No chance of drying anything out. Also be aware you have to do any cleaning yourself or presumably you will be charged. I have no issue with leaving somewhere tidy but don't feel at £170 for two nights (and that's without a bedding charge as we brought our own) I should have to clean the bathroom etc. We paid the same price for a beautiful gite in the South !!
