The 7 Best Gift & Specialty Shops in Quartier des Spectacles, Canada

June 16, 2021 Flossie Demartino

Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A horse-drawn carriage ride around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight you with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

Had I arrived there by myself, I would have been intimidated by the exterior and interior decor. But once you get acclimated, you will have the pleasure to experience one of the raddest thrift store paired with a very cool vegan cafe serving mind-blowing food for the cheapest in town. Beautiful clientele, super nice staff, an owner with true values at heart. Bravo and thank you!

My friends and I recently stopped here for cheese and meats while traveling in Montreal. The man who was helping us spent time giving us samples, understanding what we liked, and giving us the history behind everything we tried. Not to mention everything he suggested was amazing! This was by far the best customer service (and food) we had on our trip! Big shout out to the person who helped us (we are sorry we didn't get your name).
