This is a great view just out of Silverton and worth the short drive there. You can also see the windmills close by.

The famous Silverton Hotel. Pub, Bar and Memorabilia. Accommodation, Functions and great Pub Grub.
Great outback pub, quite large with alfresco dining, if you don't mind the heat, but it's unde4cover, but you can eat in the pub, at the bar, around the tables or a dining area. The pub itself is full of me orabillia and great photos to view from stars and idols whom have been their including in as, Mel Gibson. The menu is good pub grub, was there about 11, so we chose a burger and chips. The chips were big , fresh and crisp, the burger was home cooked not frozen. But you can get a good steak, fish and chips or pie or good old Chico roll.

Interesting, high quality photographs of the region. The delightful owner also spent time showing us her beautiful garden - a real labour of love in such a challenging environment.

Working Glass Studio and Gallery featuring Lee Fabbian- Neilson's stunning Glass Work and Jewellery. The Gallery showcases other local art works to include Photography, Pottery and Artists of the brush.
Firstly, let me say as a prodigal daughter of the desert finding this little gem has been the beginning I am sure of a great relationship with other artists. Lee and her husband were so giving, interested in Ebonie ( another desert queen) and I much of their time. The gallery is quirky and interesting. I recommended it my artist mates in Sydney and one will visit very soon. I will be back in the home of my birth very soon and hope to reacquaint myself with Lee. I bought a few of her lovely glass pieces and also a Howard Steer small original. Love my sunburnt country and it’s lovely inhabitants. Lee’s hubby does great coffee too.

Amazing cemetery with some interesting history. Its a little off the main street but very much worth the detour. Wear closed in shoes and lots of fly spray. We spent around 30 minutes here wandering amongst the graves.
