Albert Shahinian Fine Art is a premier art dealer and venue in the Hudson Valley since 1998. Exhibits showcase paintings, photographs and works on paper by living mid-and late-career regional artists, as well as ceramics, cast-metal sculpture, & artist books. The gallery is a 3rd floor walk-up (not handicap accessible), and includes two exhibit galleries and a back-room gallery. We proudly received the "Best of Hudson Valley 2018" recognition for Best Art Gallery in the region. Enjoy your visit to Rhinebeck and the surrounding environment for its beauty, history, and "home" to the Hudson River School of Art.

With its vintage (original) decor and excellently curated items (from hardware to gifts) this is the best place to shop in Rhinebeck. Do not miss it. Still run by the Stickle family. And it has an incredible yard shop in the rear.

Being from the Left Coast, we make it a priority to revisit the Beekman Arms Antiques Emporium on every trip to the Hudson Valley. This was the first Upstate Antiques Shop that impressed my wife, who's become a fan of unique artifacts, so much so, every new New England village or Hamlet we come across, we're hunting down the next local Beekman. The Emporium is tucked behind the Beekman Arms Inn, in a 2 Story Red Wooden Building. Staff make themselves readily available to assist you and to help you view up close pieces locked and secured in locked cases. What my wife appreciated most, is they remembered us, even, having visited some 11 months ago. There's Troves of unique pieces and "stuff", amassed by a number of collectors, ensuring, you'll be kept busy trying to view every piece and maybe like us, visualizing how they were employed in daily life. For those who seldom see an Antiques Store, think of the Beekman as Disneyland, on a small scale and a few hours, genuinely well spent being educated about early Americana!

Easy hike through the woods with the tower as your destination for incredible panoramic view. This is a short excursion outdoors that is suitable for just about anyone, including kids -- even if you're not up for climbing the stairs at the tower, it's worthwhile.
