Myall Lakes National Park

We drove through the park to reach a great campsite near the beach at Seal Rocks. The tall trees are amazing! It was hard to find an easy route to view the lake, but the glimpses we caught were beautiful.

Old Bottlebutt

Reviewed By Joshby - Melbourne, Australia

A not too long drive from Port Macquarie to Old Bottlebutt to get there........but be warned if you are using Googlemaps and it shows a quicker/shorter option off Internal Break Rd - to go along King Creek Rd: DO NOT TAKE IT like we did!! We did and only just managed to drive along it and return ????. It was very narrow and gravelly and undulating in parts! Stick to driving on Internal Break Rd and Jimmy Rd which lead to a carpark and picnic area with drop toilets. The tree was worth the drive!

Korora Lookout

Fantastic views once you've made your way up the steep windy road to the top from the Coffs Harbour side and then a lovely drive through the forest if you take the left fork on your way back down. Some beautiful trees along the route!

Lismore Rainforest Botanic Gardens

Reviewed By M7025NQtonyw - Sydney, Australia

This small municipal garden is maintained by a group of local volunteers who are to be congratulated on their efforts. The pathways are well laid out and the walk is very easy. This area is a great way to educate young kids on the beauty that is a rainforest. Plenty of free parking, picnic areas and clean bathroom facilities make this an interesting place to visit.
