Huntsville is the fourth-largest city in Alabama, located in the northernmost part of the state. A city with a 200-year Southern heritage, visitors will find activities that celebrate Huntsville’s rich history, as well as attractions that highlight the city’s scientific side. At the Alabama Constitution Village, villagers in period clothing take time from their daily chores to guide you through eight reconstructed Federal style buildings. Younger visitors will love the 150 hands-on activities at the Sci-Quest Hands-on Science Center and older kids will learn what it takes to be an astronaut at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Looking for outings with a cultural flair? Landmarks such as the Huntsville Botanical Garden and Huntsville Museum of Art are must sees. The National Trust for Historic Preservation named Huntsville to its "America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2010" list.

As one of the two largest breweries in Huntsville, you'll find a decent selection of beers here. They also offer a full menu (I recommend the Montreal Poutine!) and own the Speakeasy hidden down the hall. Located in a converted middle school (the brewing takes place in the old gymnasium), there is a bar on either side of the gym, one inside and one outside, each with full food and beer service. Dogs are welcome on the patio.

A premier retail and wine shoppe, serving specialty beers and tapas as well. We offer a large variety of wines, delicious food selections, and even gift baskets & gift cards!
After seeing the menu on-line, I made reservations for four in order to see if the food was as good as it sounded. We were looking for a nice venue with small plates and a wide selection of wine and beer. We found it all here. We arrived exactly on our reservation time and were immediately seated. (Tip: There are three booths/tables upstairs. It's quieter and better for conversation, especially on weekends.) The tapas were first class: we had the Church Street wheel, lobster bites, Ahi tuna, fries, and the pork belly. Everything was over the top in preparation, presentation, and taste. The wine was well above par and our beer selections (from local craft breweries) were excellent. Our server (I believe it was Stephanie) was super. She knew her way around the food and drink menu and her timing was impeccable all the way through the meal. We shared a chocolate dessert to finish things off. This is truly a place you need to try.
