This past July marked the 16-year anniversary of the opening of Augustine Casino. I don't think anyone could have predicted the level of popularity this little locals-focused casino would achieve. From the very beginning, residents of the east end of the Coachella Valley immediately took a liking to the place, its reasonable prices, loose slots and extremely friendly service.
Best tables in the valley - hands down! The dealers are friendly. I hear when they reopen tables will be no more, sad to hear this... hoping they come back - was the best

Agua Caliente Cathedral City is the newest gem in the Agua Caliente Casinos’ crown of jewels and consists of over 30,000 sq. feet of casino gaming, including the newest, most exclusive slot machines, and live table games. 24-hour gaming (slots and table games), entertainment, and dining options in downtown Palm Springs.
When we left, the parking structure was under construction and the Indians were in the process of remodeling the Spa Casino so we wanted to check out the changes. The parking structure makes it really convenient because you park and then go down an escalator with a beautiful full-length wall of water and enter right into the casino. They have added many more new and different machines and more gaming tables too. The gift shop was relocated and the Noodle restaurant is gone. None of the changes improves your chances of winning but that's gambling! The steak restaurant is still there at the same location. The center bar area has been enlarged. The buffet entrance is still the same. It's a beautiful venue and because it is an Indian casino, smoking is allowed. The ventilation is good though but if you have a sensitivity or allergy to cigarette smoke, be aware. There is an expensive steak house but there is also another cafe restaurant to get something to eat. You have to pay for your drinks. This is not Las Vegas! There is no poker room but there is a High Limits room with a few tables and machines. I often stop at this casino but that's me and I think it's part of the Palm Springs experience. It's one block away from Palm Canyon Drive so it's an easy walk.

The Steak is an excellent restaurant with excellent steaks. Gaming floor is nice. Lots of choices. Not too smoky. Buffet is as you would expect. Joined their slot club but my card never worked. They gave me four before I finally said forget it.

Friends called us to see if we wanted to go to Spotlight 29 for Dinner and a Tribute Show since we had just seen the movie Bohemian Rhapsody and the tribute band was Queen Nation we decided to give it a try. WOW!!!! what a nice evening we had not been to Spotlight 29 for at least a couple of years even though we live almost next door in Palm Desert. Upon arrival they offer Free Valet Parking which we took advantage allowing us to walk a few feet and be in the Casino, new automated machines located right inside the entrance allow you to get a Club 29 Gold Players Card with in minutes we then got in line for their Prime Rib $9.99 Buffet Dinner we were seated with in 10 minutes of our arrival had a GREAT meal with all the trimmings including desert. We then headed to the Box office to purchase tickets to the concert, no reserved seating except for 16 box seats since the box seats were all sold we opted for the non reserved first come seating $10.00 per seat plus a $2.00 service charge. When we purchased our tickets the line to get in was quite long it was around 6:00 pm the doors were going to open at 7:00 we decided to get in line and wait which we did. The time went quickly a couple in our group were able to play slot machines near the line until it was time to go in. When the doors opened it was a little chaotic we noticed many people from behind us moving past us to get through the doors before us there was no line control this really did not effect the seating we ended up with. We located in the middle of the theater in the first row right above the last row of reserved booths, our seats were really good with perfect views of the stage we were right on the aisle. Queen Nation was fantastic we really enjoyed the evening from start to finish we gambled a little after the show to allow the crowd heading to valet to pick up their cars to diminish a little. About 45 minutes after some gambling we headed to Valet it took 5 minutes to retrieve our car gave the young man a few dollars for his hustle we were off to home. We were really amazed at the Quality of the Casino it was not what we remembered from years past. HIGHLY RECOMMEND any one interested in an ENJOYABLE evening check out their Friday night Tribute shows get your card have a nice buffet dinner, better than very reasonable concert cost, good entertainment. If you opt for a reserved booth they will handle 6 patrons for about $108.00 total for the 6 including a bucket of 6 light beers. HAVE A FUN EVENING
