Amir is incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, ask any questions on the history of the region, he has an answer. Firstly we followed Roman tracks on road level, then went underground, where, naturally, one expects to see Roman relics. Our trip on the bus and into Sagunta was enjoyable, especially with the ordered tapas at Jesùs' bar to look forward to. A climb up to the restored theatre and on to the castle was a little strenuous, but only if you had Tarancino with the snacks! Back down steep, narrow lanes, through the ancient Jewish quarter, to the bus. All in all, an informativ outing and money well spent. Highly recommended!

Luis collected us for a fun day away. Our group of 4 joined up with a group of 4 Dutch gents. We travelled about an hour out of València where we transfered to a jeep with our fun rafting guide.. Francis! We were well kitted out with wet suits, life jackets, helmets and rafting shoes. (no loos or changing area.. So the bushes helped preserve some modesty.. Bring your own swim wear.. To wear under your wet suit.. Your towels and gear remain in the jeep). We were given our safety talk before heading off. A few fun games ended up with us landing in the water. We spent about 2 hours on the river.. Over a few rapids, some nice smooth areas and jumping from rocks. Francis made us feel safe at all times. After a quick change, and hungry after our rafting we headed to the winery. We visited Bodega Mustiguillo where we had a delicious lunch and 4 good wines to taste before a tour of the winery. Our hosts were very friendly and knowledge. We have our order in for our wine delivery. We were then transferred back to our apartment. Highly recommended day away.
