For more than 50 years PCPA - Pacific conservatory Theatre has been presenting exemplary theatre and providing excellent training with a resident company of theatre professionals. Begun in the summer of 1964, founder Donovan Marley laid the ground work for a year-round professional theatre company. PCPA remains the only resident professional company on the Central Coast producing consistent quality entertainment for the community while training thousands of actors and theatre technicians for a career in theatre.
A great production of outstanding actors with an amazing set. This was so funny and a heartwarming story. We frequent PCPA often and they always provide the best live theater.

Rancho Sisquoc Winery has been crafting quality wines in small quantities for over 45 years. We grow over 300 acres of superb vineyards for our award winning estate wines. Located in northern Santa Barbara County on the Sisquoc River, 14 miles east of Santa Maria, Rancho Sisquoc is part of an 1852 Mexican land grant. The Chumash Indians called this area "Sisquoc", which meant "gathering place". Today, Rancho Sisquoc is again a gathering place, this time for wine lovers. We welcome visitors to our Tasting Room and to enjoy our beautiful picnic grounds.
Low key beautiful setting with approachable wines and some deli selections or you can bring your own food and picnic under the oaks. Winery dogs add to the warmth of welcome. Not to miss for some relaxation and a change of pace from the typical tasting room. By the glass or flights available.

Scenic trail through vineyards and rolling hills of California's Central Coast wine region.
The Foxen Canyon Wine Trail offers lots of opportunities, some large wineries some small. With a little research in advance, you can taste some excellent wines. All are served in very pleasant settings.

Certified-sustainable boutique winery dedicated to Santa Maria Valley Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and sparkling wines from a single vineyard on the bank of the ancient Sisquoc River, known as the Santa Maria Bench. Riverbench Vineyard was established in 1973, when the first Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes were planted on the property. Since then, some of the most renowned wineries in Santa Barbara County have purchased Riverbench fruit for their own wines. Take in the vineyard views from our Santa Maria Valley tasting room - a restored 1920’s craftsman style house on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. Their spacious garden is ideal location for a wine country picnic.

This is not a large museum, but it is packed full of interesting information! Take time to look and read. The Docents are very helpful. I actually found a picture of my father who was an Instructor for Primary Training for the Army Air Corp through Hancock College of Aeronautics in Olancha, CA. That was exciting! There several real airplanes and thousands of models of various sizes of every kind of plane there has ever been. From the beginning of flight to the space age, even some space flight engines to see up close and personal. They have a gift corner with mementos, build your own models and T-Shirts. Some movies were filmed here with one of the hangars being built by Disney. We enjoyed the time spent here!
