Open since 1995 The 6 passengers owes its name to its “philosophy”: Each boat will transport six divers only, this because of comfort and conviviality concerns but also because of optimum safety reasons... Dive with us & discover the incredible underwater fauna of Rangiroa!

What a great experience! Everything was perfect: - the planning / activities - the crew (so nice, thanks again) - the food and drinks. I am vegetarian and I had a lot to eat. They DO have the best coconut bread. Highly recommended.

Gauguin's Pearl is the unique pearl farm on the Rangiroa atoll, in French Polynesia. Since it opened in 1992, it has provided local, ethical, traditional and ecological knowledge to all its customers. A very well-documented guided tour is provided as well, where you can discover the whole process from the birth of a Tahitian pearl to the creation of a jewel. In our shop, you will find handmade creations, unique Tahitian pearl jewells, and a large choice of colors and shapes : necklaces, earrings, pendants, bracelets and rings.
We were picked up and drop off at the hotel free of charge by the Gauging Pearl Farm. Very explanatory tour and the boutique has a large variety of pearls. Worth the trip.

It's an hour-long boat ride to get here, but so worth it. We booked a private tour so we could have a secluded spot to ourselves, but that didn't happen. Be sure to talk with your tour operator on exactly what is expected! Aside from that, the lagoon is amazing, all shades of blue, with baby sharks cruising the shallow waters.
