It was one of the best things to do in Maiori. Plus, have you ever met the owner of a castle? Here, you will find the very owner, and adorable sir who will guide you personally all over the castle and telling amazing stories of the historic things you find in each room of the castle. If you go to Maiori, you have to visit the castle. P.S. better to go during the sunset, because sun can be hard during the day. It takes 30 minutes or less to go up, and 30 to 45 minutes to walk around the castle. I started at 18:00 and before 20:00 I was down in the city again.

Based on the East side of the Hotel Botanico San Lazzaro, the exclusive exotic garden "Beniamino Cimini" is split in levels, making the most of the typical terraces on the Amalfi Coast commonly engaged by scented lemon groves. With further 3500 square metres extension, the garden offers its visitors the delights of a botanic oasis, formed by cactaceae and succulente, with approximately 2000 different plants and a rare collection of cristate that stands out among them. A green corner with an exotic touch, therefore, set on a natural scenery of sublimed beauty dedicated to Beniamino Cimini who committed his life to the intensive farming and growing of this collection of exemplary nature. A passion materialized in a botanic garden near the sea, the ideal place for pleasant walks and relaxing ways to spend your time, sipping a cocktail or a glass of wine, flipping through the pages of a magazine or a good book.
We visited this spot which is accessible only by funicular. It is perched high on a hill. There are several levels of cactus gardens which are amazing to stroll through., Beautiful view from there also.

We walked from Minori to Maiori , it's a nice walk with stunning views and a lot of spots to take pictures. The walk is not difficult except from the steps at the first part. During the walk there was a man who offered us a fresh lemon juice , lemon marmalade and the a homemade limoncello which was the best I ever tasted , he doesn't ask for a fixed price , but he asks for a small donation as much as you like
