Daisenkirinzan - a forested nature park with fantastic geological formations is a great place for children and adults to be free-spirited; allowing creativity to see what you want to see in the amazing rock formations. There are natural formations that look like a cat, a T-Rex, a gorilla, a crocodile; a place where you see what your eyes want you to see. The trails are clearly marked and easy to walk. There are thoughtful gestures like walking sticks/wooden staff and umbrellas provided by the park. The stone museum at the end of the walk is well curated and informative. The best part of this museum is that you can touch the exhibits.

Amazing waterfall and nice hike to it too. My family has fun it was a really hot day so we decided to jump in the water ????. It was really cold but refreshing too.

I love the scenery at Cape Hedo. There are plunging cliffs, crashing waves and huge rocks off the shore, all view-able along clearly marked paths. A new cafe just opened recently and serve pizzas, "fish-shaped" sandwiches and good coffee.

The Yanbaru Wildlife Center aims to promote awareness and understanding of wildlife conservation among visitors to Yanbaru. It also acts as a research base and undertakes projects to protect and breed endangered wildlife such as the Okinawa woodpecker and Okinawa rail birds. The exhibition here was given a full renovation, and following its reopening in 2010, it was given the nickname Ufugi Nature Museum. (Ufugi means "large tree" in the local dialect)
