Showcasing the best of Griffith, follow the Bella Vita Riverina Team ( Beautiful Life) on a truly local experience where you can taste, drink and learn about this growing city and learn why Griffith is called the food bowl of the nation. Our flexible tours are accommodating to visitors interest and focus around local family run wineries, allowing you to taste and enjoy local wines, in a climate most similar to the Mediterranean.

Griffith Pioneer Park is an open air Museum consisting of 40+ buildings housing exhibitions dedicated to preservation of Griffith & district history. Although set up by volunteers the Council now manage operations. The Museum also houses the Italian Museum and Cultural Centre. The only time the Museum is closed to the public is between Christmas and New Year, from the 24th December to approximately 5th January, reviewed annually.
This is a real authentic experience for what life was like in rural Australia 100 years ago. The recreated Bagtown was incredible. I recommend to take the train tour narrated by one of the staff or volunteers, we learned so much. I just was so impressed by the extensive collection of historic items. It was like a trip to yesteryear that kids and adults will enjoy.

Call into the Griffith Visitor Information Centre at the Tourism Hub and have a chat to a friendly local. A great place to start when visiting Griffith - pick up free local maps, gather information about what to see & do, where to stay and eat, plus find out what's on. The interpretive display area provides a good history of how Griffith started just over 100 years ago. The Gift Shop stocks a range of local produce, Griffith souvenirs plus Australian soft animal toys (laughing Kookaburra's are popular), Indigenous giftware - didgeridoo, tapping sticks and Australian themed crockery. View our stained glass window depicting the Griffith landscape.
Very helpful staff and good information. Explanation of major things to see and do clear and precise. One of the best information centres.

We were having a walk along the canal and visited City Park. It was lovely to see so many families with children or grandparents having a wonderful time in the park. There is so much to do with a slash park, exercise equipment, fabulous climbing gear and swings. It has lovely shaded grassy areas, a water station and lots more. Well worth a visit for the young and young at heart.

It is amazing what one man create with a puck and shovel back in 1921. Great views from the lookout over Griffith. But what is great is when you look at the storyboards which have photographs of when the Hermit had his home in the cave and the look at the landscape before you. Great views, nice walk and great history of a hermit.

take a visit to the Lake on Sunset - it will not disappoint. Lovely spot for family picnics with some animals to see too.
