We went to La Casa de las Piedritas after a menu del dia in Envigado. We walked across town about 25 minutes from where we were and it was not a problem. The house is actually not very far from the Principle Park of Envigado. This was a very interesting stone house that the owner has been building for 37 years. He and his wife greeted the visitors very warmly and gave the tour of their private home. They even offered candy and coffee at the end. You can tip at the end if you like, but there is not push for it.

We love language learning! At Colombia Immersion we believe in a more compassionate world where people can communicate, connect and see the world through the eyes of their neighbors. Learning a new language can broaden our worlds and challenge us to see the world from a different perspective. By learning Spanish together, we make a journey through the Colombian culture and therefore bringing the people of the world closer together.
I spent 3 weeks at Colombia Immersion in the Laureles program and loved it! This is definitely the place to go if you want to study in Medellin. The school was super organized, excellent teachers, friendly staff, and many activities geared towards understand Colombia and Medellin and meeting other people. The curriculum was also really organized, and the school was comfortable. Thank you, thank you, thank you Colombia Immersion.

Please read carefully Cost= 30,000 each person. You get a lesson on how to play, 2 hours of play, and 1 drinks. Normal hours of business are Tuesday through Friday 4pm to 6pm. We need a minimum of 4 people. Evening start times are possible with 6 or more people. Tejo is the national sport of Colombia. You throw a metal disk of steel at packages of gunpowder and hope they explode. I can teach you how to play. It's great fun for everyone.
Honestly, the description doesn't do this activity justice! Tejo is way more fun than it sounds, and Chris is a great teacher. None of the people in our group had played before, but by the end of the night we'd all scored more than a few points. This is a great activity to experience the "real" Medellin, as the locals do.

ENIGMA Room Escape is the brand-new live escape game in Medellin. It is a challenge of escapism where you challenge your mental skills while having fun. The objective is simple: escaping from out themed room in less than 60 minutes, in group of two to six people. You will have to solve a series of puzzles and mysteries using your logic, sense of observation, reflection and teamwork.
My friends and I had so much fun at the Escape Room. The activities require teamwork and can be puzzling at first but it is so fun making discoveries and having victories along the way. The challenges are very well thought-out and we had an amazing time. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed the park. We visited with our twin sons, 2 months old. The paths were well maintained and easy to hike. We took a taxi from Poblado and it was around 20k, to return we took the bus to the metro (you can catch it right across from the entrance of the park) and then cabbed back. Great way to spend the afternoon, only takes a couple hours to walk around. So don't stress about getting there too early.
