Located in the Liberties area, the Artisan Brew Academy is surrounded by hundreds of years of Irish brewing and distilling culture. We are a unique brewing academy that offers beer making experiences. Each one lasts 3 hours . Ours is a hands on experience. We take a bag of grain and turn it into beer, and you are with us all the way. Come and taste some of the amazing craft beers that we have produced . And when you're done, we are situated only blocks away from the world famous Guinness brewery, Pearse Lyons Distillery, Roe Distillery, Teelings Distillery, and The Brazen Head, one of the oldest pubs in all of Ireland.
Worked There for a while and had The best time of my stay in Dublin. The staff is really warm and they make you Feel very welcomed, like home. Don, the owner , is the friendliest guy ever, always making sure you are feeling comfortable and concerned that you are having the best experience. My Co-worker at the time, Liam, with wich i was always having a blast , is the nicest guy ever. He was always trying to make you have fun, and was very warm and knowledgable. The beer was amazing with Lots of different styles and experiments. The designs for the labels are so creative and diverse. Anyways, i can not recommend these guys enough, it is a most do if you are in Dublín. You will surely make a friend there. Your friend from mexico, chicharito.

We had heard about Porterhouse on a video while preparing for our trip to Dublin and planned to make a stop to try the Plain Porter. We stumbled upon it and decided to stop for lunch and a beer, and were not disappointed. The Celebration Stout was excellent, as was the porter and lived up to its hype. The beef and porter stew was also excellent, very tender and flavorful. Our waitress Maria was top notch and gave us a few samples of other beers to try as well. We will definitely be back to try a few other beers before heading back to the states.

We love Boco pizzas and Harry Byrnes so it was only a matter of time before we came for a visit. We went on Thursday evening just after 5pm and it wasn't busy when we arrived but by the time we left just before 7pm it was packed. They have the place so well set up to comply with all the government Covid 19 guidelines. It feels safe and well spaced out but you definitely don't lose any of the atmosphere that Harry Byrne's always had. The pizzas were amazing, the drinks were perfect and the staff were so friendly. We'll definitely be back soon.

An experimental taproom located in the heart of the working St. James's Gate brewery, home to the small batch beer creations from the innovation brewers at Guinness.
Very fun experience in Dublin! We went on a tour in the museum and learn how Guinness beer is made and how to serve it properly! Strongly recommend it!

Rascals HQ in Dublin is a visitor destination for food and drink lovers, just minutes from Kilmainham Gaol in the heart of historic Inchicore. The premises houses the award-winning independent craft brewery Rascals Brewing Co, as well as a pizza restaurant and event spaces. Rascals HQ also gives guided tours of its brewery with an opportunity to taste the beer – and pizza of course – in the brewery’s specially designed taproom. Rascals Brewing was founded in 2014 by Emma Devlin and Cathal O’Donoghue. The company has a brand personality which promotes fun, adventure, and the broadening of tastes. Visitors can exclusively taste all the new specialty brews, which will be pouring straight from tank to tap. The option of wine, cider and non-alcoholic beer also exists. The family-friendly pizza restaurant serves up delicious food from 4pm Monday to Thursday, and from midday on Fridays and at weekends, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
I visited during covid lockdown to pick up some beers to take home. There is a really good selection from on premises brews and guest beers. All the beers are distinct and very tasty, from solid IPAs and helles larger to more interesting pale ales with fruity notes. Definitely worth the trip to pick up something a lot more interesting. The people running the off licence made it a great overall experience. The smell from the kitchen was amazing - will try to coordinate with dinner time when I go back to restock the fridge and it’s on the list for a proper visit when restrictions allow.
