Pub is at 2516 Market Avenue
What a Great brewery Great Lakes is inCleveland. For three decades the brewery has occupied a beautiful historical grain & feed factory on Market Street. If you like delicious craft beer and history you must stop in. Parking was easy and we started out in the gift shop which was fun. After getting some cool Great Lakes merch we stopped into their famous pub. Wow the antique mahogany bar was gorgeous and well worn. We enjoyed delicious fresh Christmas Ales and appreciated all the friendly staff (who by the way own the company!). I took a walk through the industrial dining room, basement pub, and bar fascinated by the amazing Cleveland history on their walls. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and next time will take the Friday brewery tour! Cheers Great Lakes Brewery.

Great beer, great service. I particularly enjoyed the wheat beer while my husband enjoyed an IPA. There were games to play inside, including cards. Very fun & we will return! This place is Cleveland!!

The Cleveland brewery & taproom, located in Ohio City, is built with the idea of taking you back to Eastern Kentucky in the late 1800’s; a comfortable saloon feel, unassuming bartender and great beer and bourbon. The bar can seat up to 20 people, and holds 18 taps – enough to handle a full lineup of Bad Tom Smith’s beers, plus three that rotate between drafts from collaborations with local breweries and single batch brews from our Ohio City Brew team and local head brewer, Ean Fakan. Quality bourbons, cocktails, wine and other spirits are also poured with Bad Tom Smith Bourbon coming mid-summer 2020. Patrons can relax on couches that face Ohio City’s W. 25th St. and people watch while they enjoy one of their favorite Bad Tom Smith brew, or catch the latest game on one of the 5 big screen TVs placed throughout the taproom. In addition to our classic Bavarian Pretzel, our onsite food partners Pizza Whirl, provide pizza, wings, calzones and wings that pair perfectly with our beers.

Bookhouse Brewing is a small brewery and taproom in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood, focusing on innovative and approachable beers and ciders in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Books, maps, and other curiosities decorate the pub. There are no TVs, but plenty of available wi-fi. The Bookhouse Brewing taproom has room for 105, and highlights its historic features. A semi-private fenced patio offers al fresco accommodations, with room for 24. An eclectic lineup of beverages, both alcoholic and non, are on offer, and a small menu of snacks rounds out the experience.
This is a fun little spot. The inside is laid out in a rambling hodgepodge of rooms which have books in them. There is plenty of seating and some seats have power. The beer selection is very impressive and their DIPA is absolutely excellent. It's definitely worth a stop.
