We are a "Scottish" owned and run bed and breakfast situated in the beautiful peninsula of Waternish. Our B&B overlooks the Minch and the Outer Hebrides and is only a ten minute walk from the seafront. The original house was built in 1910 and has just been renovated and extended to a very high standard.
Great B&B, perfect to stay before and after a trip to st kilda! Johny is great, flexible and friendly even when you arrive at 2300! Brilliant breakfast. Very powerful showers. Amazing views. Good location to explore Skye or just chill out. ?????

A big welcome from Madeline & Graham
We were only staying in the area for one night and wished we could have stayed much longer. Madeline and Graham were delightful hosts and had thought of everything for their guests. The double room was ensuite and was virtually a suite, as it was 3 connecting rooms. Breakfast was delicious, there was a wide variety and you chose it the night before - all very organised.

A two bedroom self contained, self catering holiday let on the ground floor of our home, Brae Fasach comprising of a kitchen, dining room, lounge, conservatory, hall and shower room. The main bedroom is king size and the other a single. A single parking bay is reserved for the holiday let with private access up the side of the property. Ease of access can also be obtained. The holiday let also comes with an outside patio/picnic and lawn area. Stunning views from the kitchen, lounge, main bedroom and conservatory out over Loch Bay, the Minch and out to the Outer Hebrides from where beautiful sunsets can enfold. Brae Fasach is right next door to Skye Skyns, with its 5* visitors centre and Yurtea&coffee. Local amenities, all within walking distance, include The Stein Inn which is the oldest on Skye, Michelin Star Loch Bay Restaurant and Dandelion Designs Art Gallery. Waternish has 2 recognised Darks Skies locations making it great for star gazing on clear nights with the Aurora Borealis making more than an annual appearance.
Brae Fasach is a stylish and comfortable holiday home. Absolutely spotless with everything you could wish for. As other reviewers have said the conservatory with its underfloor heating is just the best place to sit and relax and take in the views which are breathtaking. The Waternish peninsula is spectacular and Stein a delightful community with traditional pub and superb Michelin seafood restaurant (book well in advance). We had lovely weather during our stay and preferring to stay in the north visited The Storr, the Quiraing, Neist Point lighthouse, Coral Beach, Waternish Peninsula walks and Dunvegan Castle. Sarah and Richard were very welcoming and generous hosts. Thank you both.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a Detached House with superb Sea views out to the Outer Isles
Hillside is in an idyllic location looking on to Loch Bay, stunning when sitting at breakfast prepared by Mick and Lynn, fantastic hosts whose attention to detail was second to none, even to the point of Mick rescuing us in his car when we were caught in a cloudburst during a walk in the amazing scenery. We were really sorry to leave after two nights' superb accommodation and Mick and Lynn's brilliant chats about their 'journey' to Skye, so enjoyable and of course not forgetting Stella and Speckle, the lovely dogs. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Egroeg - Egroeg is a contemporary, architect designed, “upside down” house – with three guest bedrooms on the ground floor and superb views - across The Minch, to Lewis & Harris - from the split-level first floor, where the living area and kitchen-dining area are all seamlessly integrated into a large open-plan living space. A wood-burning stove completes the exclusive ambiance …
We loved our very short stay and Egroeg, which we bumped into by accident! My group and I were lost, and it was very late and dark and Nigel tried to help us find where we were going. It was very late though so we ended up staying with them. We had a very comfortable stay in their very modern, very comfortable place, absolutely amazing views, and not only did we have a delicious breakfast with fresh bread from the local bakery, Nigel even helped write out detailed instructions and a map on how to get where we were going. They totally went above and beyond to help us. Very kind genuine people. Much appreciated!

Small and friendly croft house bed and breakfast with beautiful sea views on the tranquil Waternish peninsula. Focus on high quality breakfasts to set you up for the day after a night on one of our comfy king beds. Come and meet our hens, highland ponies and exuberant rough collie.
What a lovely place. The views from the house are fantastic and can even be enjoyed from the comfort of a bath in the huge luxury bathroom! Claire is a lovely host who can't do enough for you and does a wonderful homemade breakfast. We enjoyed being meat free for a change, a great avocado on toast, pancakes, fried eggs (from the chickens in the garden) mushrooms and tomatoes with the best porridge we had in Scotland!! It was also great to meet Zeb the rough collie and the 2 Highland ponies.
