Sparty Budapest is a unique and very popular bath party series, actually the 5th biggest event in Hungary with 50 thousand people attending yearly. The parties are mostly sold out, because only a limited number of people can attend, to make the experience more special. Sparties are awaiting party-goers on most Saturdays throughout the year. Here guests can enjoy great electronic dance music and unforgettable visuals while partying in the pools of Budapest's most beautiful bath complex, Széchenyi Thermal Bath. Sparty has an older sibling called Cinetrip (launched in 1998), which is a more ecstatic, more upbeat version of bath parties, held twice a year (once in Summer, once in Winter), based on an ever changing theme. Organizers, location and positive vibes are the same, so please feel free to recommend both Sparty and Cinetrip here.
We had the BEST night in Budapest at SPARTY.... After reading reviews I was abit dubious about the night but I must say, It was excellent! Me and my husband went together as a couple only. We prepaid tickets and had drink vouchers, as we’d been drinking in the day we didn’t buy anymore drinks so didn’t use the spartypay but the drink token allows you 1 cocktail (choice of 4) or 2 beers. The drinks aren’t watered down like other places so bare that in mind. We had 5 tokens with our tickets. On entering we were given a locker key and when you go to the changing rooms there are people who can help you with the lockers if needed. Moving onto the party itself.....sickkkkkk. It’s defo a higher ratio of men to women, I met a girl there who had travelled by herself and even though I’m out going I would have found that quite daunting although, in saying that, the girls were as bad as the boys ???? The atmosphere is wicked, especially when the beat drops and everyone splashes. The fire dancers are good and the DJ was upbeat. There is security inside and out of the pool and I only saw one person being hoisted out but he was paralytic and for my own safety I’d rather be pulled out than fall asleep in the water. Security was on point. Some people were so pissed they were being dumb, especially by the end when lads want to run around in changing rooms with their bits hanging out???? the pool does become like abit of an orgy and at one point you could smell the urine ???? but that isn’t due to sparty and can’t be helped. Nothing a good scrub in the shower can’t fix! Lockers were easy to use and were big enough to put in a gym size bag. Only downside was the changing rooms as they are tiny, dryers are rubbish and the taxis are a rip off. We ordered a taxi via an app and was less than half the price. We literally pulled an all nighter and left from sparty to the airport and on enterance to sparty all the chocolates I had bought to take home were confiscated☹️????and they wouldn’t let me collect them after. Other than that, I would go back in a heartbeat! It was the best night I’ve had in ages and would recommend!
