On arrival you alight to a charming olde era platform with a traditional refreshment room taking me back to rail journeys past.All the tourist information you need is available at the station,train timetables and any help you need from friendly staff.Loved the old timber gates used to block off traffic to enable trains to continue on to Wendouree...Ballarat station is a close walk to many sights in this lovely city and easy navigating for any age.
