On Piazza di Santa Maria, this very nice papal basilica has a lot of treasures ; it's a museum to visit with a guide or alone; the first crib, a scuptured work in white marble and representing the Virgin with the Child, San Joseph and the three Wise Men and also the donkey and ox; it's the first crib created by the artist named Arnolfo di Cambio from pape Nicolo V; (Hommage to San Nicolas today) visit also the archaelogical excavations, la sala di Papi and scala di Bernini.

Our driver Fabrizio was the best...He turned up on time, he smiled, he was kind and he knew exactly what he was doing. Not only did he take us to some beautiful and inspiring places around Rome, he literally explained where we were and the history behind the places we saw, which was awesome lol I completely recommend him if you expect the full experience;)

This is a great winery-tour near Rome (40 min drive from the Aurelia district). If you’re not able to reach the winery with your own transportation, they offer a service for you. The winery is very authentic and beautiful, and the tourguide speaks English very clear. We got to see the grapyard and tasted 3 different wines. With each wine, you will have a small meal which allows you to taste te wine even better. After te tasting part, we got to see the winesellar. We bought a few bottles at this place to take home and surprise our relatives. A experience you won’t regret!

I enjoyed every bit of my minitour in Rome with strict observance to the Covid 19 rules and regulations. Very nice and knowledgeable on the subjects! Our guide was Antoni and he even let me borrow his coat to cover my shoulders. I learned a lot with this tour, rather than going without one. I would definitely do it again.

Ghazwan was wonderful. Very knowledgeable about the area. Would highly recommend you do this tour on your first day so you can see all the sites and then decide which ones you would like to go spend more time at. All stops give you ample time for photo opportunities, never felt rushed. We choose not to return to the hotel and were dropped off to explore more on our own after the tour.
7. Underground Rome, Catacombs, the Appian way and Roman Castles (8hrs)
The discovery of a city built over its own ruins. The eternal city always has something extraordinary to offer you and we will take you to visit the treasures hidden under the level of modern Rome. San Clemente is perhaps the most famous basilica for its underground levels. In addition to medieval mosaics and Renaissance paintings on the first level, the visit will take you to the lower levels until the first century after Christ. Your driver will take you outside the Aurelian walls (third century after Christ) to the Appian way, the oldest consular road built by the Romans. You can admire the pavement of the ancient road (fourth century before Christ), the ruins of the tomb of Cecilia Metella and the villa of the Emperor Massenzio, before heading towards the Catacombs of San Callisto. After the Catacombs your driver will take you to Castel Gandolfo to take some pictures at the wonderful Lake Albano and you can have lunch at a local restaurant with wine tasting.

We had a very enjoyable and informative all-day tour of Rome and Vatican City. Our guide, Nicola, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He arranged the schedule perfectly and gave us keen insights on each point of interest that we visited. Our driver, Claudio, expertly navigated the routes and was very friendly as well. We engaged Claudio to give us another half-day tour of Castel Gandolfo, which was superb. I strongly recommend Limousine Service in Italy for your travel needs.
