Had a good time. Served very well from day one by professional staff. John, in particular was very hospitable and time conscious. Lilian and Elizabeth were also good at the reception. The food was good and timely and the scenery was lovely

Located on the world famous Diani Beach. The resort comprises three luxurious properties – The Baobab, The Maridadi and Kole Kole, offering a unique selection of exquisite accommodation and facilities spread across the resort grounds. Guestrooms have been specifically designed to provide paramount comfort and luxury for all our clients. Guests may utilise leisure facilities across the resort including 3 swimming pools, dining areas and much more.
My family, friends and I just spent a week at this beautiful resort and had the most amazing time. The facilities were great and most staff really attentive, especially James in the restaurants and Humphrey in the bar. Humphrey serves by far the best cocktails!! The accommodation was okay and as expected for Kenya but could do with brightening up and in some of the rooms not all the facilities were working, These were mainly minor things though to be honest. For anyone venturing on the beach you will be mobbed by the locals who absolutely need your business following covid. Not all are honest so please do ask for Stefan if you are interested in doing trips or jet skis, visit Moses to buy your gifts and lastly I would thoroughly recommend a massage by Mercy.

Situated right on the white sand beach of the Indian Ocean, Diani Sea Lodge, an all-inclusive 3+ resort, is surrounded by lush tropical gardens.
I've lost count of how many times I've been a visitor at Diani Sea Lodge and I keep returning simply because of the amazing customer service I receive each visit. The rooms are clean and comfortable though you'll find you won't spend much time indoors. It is a lovely beach front hotel with plenty of sunbeds and outside seating areas. It has two pools, one is for children. Food is tasty and there is always variety! You can request a seafood platter at a very pocket friendly cost. The bar will have all your favourites and the snack bar will keep you well fed if you don't want to go to the main restaurant. It's exactly the place you want to be for a relaxing, stress free holiday.

This dramatic hotel with its fantastic pools and beautiful beach is the perfect spot to relax after a safari… or simply visit to relax! The warm and very African feel of the hotel with comfortable rooms, well appointed bathrooms and selection of restaurants offers guests plenty of places to lounge in the sun and almost as many shady spots to enjoy a bit of a breeze and a good book. All rooms have quiet, split unit air conditioners, televisions, mini fridges and coffee and tea making facilities. There is a safe (chargeable) in each room and a business center located in the main building with internet or wifi access in public areas. The drama of the huge, traditional makuti (thatched) roof in the main restaurant offers the Chef a terrific showcase for a varied selection of local and international dishes on the buffet or you could indulge at one of the a la carte restaurants (chargeable) for a special occasion or just a quiet evening for two.
This resort is a vast one with spacious rooms, well laid out amenities, good spread of culinary dishes (native, continental, asian etc.) and evening entertainment. The beach is clean with soft white sand. The massage in the spa was worth its value. The service was overall good. Things we felt need to be done differently or better are: charging for safety locker in the room, water and the rigid process needed for reserving table in the restaurants (these are separate from the buffet offered in the common dining hall).

Set on the most beautiful unspoiled crystal white sandy beaches on the south coast of Kenya. The expansive compound is shaded by coconut palm and a myriad of exotic tropical trees & flowers; the resort offers the ultimate tropical paradise. Animal life abounds in the compound and various varieties of monkeys can be seen jumping around in the vicinity. Bright white against the blue sky, the hotel has 170 rooms. The rooms are of 3 main categories: Standard rooms with garden view, Family rooms & Bahari rooms with sea/pool view. All rooms have TVs, coffee/tea making facilities, mini bars are in the Bahari rooms
Our clients were well received. They got to the hotel earlier than their check in time and they were accommodated. The food was great, rooms were clean and spacious and services were outstanding. We shall definitely book again.

Well, another review. After a 2 year break due to all the crap in the world, I have, at last, had my 8th trip to the Papillon. Sadly ,it wasn,t the usual time of the year for my visit, I usually go in mid November. I had my usual wonderful greeting from the reception people ,( even the Man U supporters ). That was my first indication of changes. There was a young lady working with the men, and later on I found that it was a new policy in the whole hotel. It was good to see. Even Vincent, the egg expert, had his own lovely assistant.!!!! It was not long that I realised that quite a few old friends were not working there any more. Due to the bad 2 years, some had retired, also some had left for pastures new, but many were still there, and what a wonderful greeting I got, from the top people, down the ranks. I must admit it was quieter than in November, but this just the start of a long recovery period. I have no doubt with all the wonderful staff, the future looks good. To the holiday itself, it was just the same as all the others, superb. To much food, booze and sun . Went home ,overweight again, but very happy and hopefully ,look forward to doing it all again. Thank you everybody for a wonderful . A happy old man yet again.!!!!
