What a great day we spent with Judy. She is knowledgeable, personable, easy going, and very importantly, has a keen sense of humor. We customized our tour to not only include food which was excellent, we also had her show us some Taipei neighborhoods and markets that are not on the usual tourist trail. If you want to have a fun experience that you'll always remember and will exceed your expectations choose the Taiwan local Judy! PS. I am not usually a donut fan but you have to make sure she takes you to the Taiwan donut shop. Awesome!

Nothing is very far from anything else in Taipei, which makes it a great place for walking. The National Taiwan University Hospital MRT Station adjoins the notable 2-28 Peace Memorial Park. The Zhongshan area abounds in places of interest, including the Presidential Office, which dates from the Japanese colonial era (1895-1945). This walking tour will help orient you and after all, it's free.

This is a great tour and Tina was a really brilliant guide - smart, knowledgeable and great fun. The market is lively and interesting with amazing - and sometimes crazy - food to try. The food was delicious and often surprising and although the market is a bit touristy it does still provide a window into Taipei life. The two hours flew by! I would really recommend this tour - such fun and a great way to experience the market.

Tina helped us to organise our trip in Taiwan. It was my girlfriend and I and the goal was to see as much from Taiwan from north to south in combination with local food and drinks. When we arrived at the airport we could directly pick up our sim card which Tina send us a voucher for. It was for 7 days unlimited internet and the shop directly inserted the card and check the connection. (I recommended the simcard to be able to make use of Google Maps, Uber and keep your story updated ;)) We started the trip in Taichung which is a 40-minute speed train from the airport. Tina had a wide arrangement of possible places to go here and we started with the night market. Truly overwhelmed by the taste, smell and the kind people there was no better start of our trip. Taichung is a relaxed but vibrant city where you can enjoy the rainbow village, small markets, art districts and the earthquake museum. The following stop was Kenting, the most southern village on the island. Tina arranged a rental card just around the corner (you need to bring an international drivers licence). The road are of good quality, the surroundings beautiful, just watch al the speed checks. Kenting is a typical Asian beach town located next to Kenting nature reserve, perfect for hiking or chilling on the beach. You can eat on main street or go to one of the Tai restaurants which are decent. Do not expect the same level of food and cocktails as in Taichung or Taipei but you can definitely enjoy. Time for Taipei! Arriving Friday night we went to bed early because Tine would take us around this Saturday. We bought a MRT ticket for the whole day (150 twd) and we truly received a local experience. From the mayor sightseeing point to small shopping streets and markets, everything was thought of. Having the best food from the streets and experiencing the city in a relaxed manner made the day flawless. Tina’s love for food and beverages made us especially connected to her. She made us try new things and helped with reservations for cocktail bars and restaurants. Finishing the trip on Elephant Mountain was magical and without a doubt I would recommend anyone to contact Tina for your trip to Taiwan. If you want to combine adventure, art, food, drinks and unique locations ^^^ Tina, thank you for making this possible!
