Romantic Naples, two hours south of Rome, is the largest city in southern Italy. It has some of the world's best opera and theater houses and is often called an open-air museum, due to its many historic statues and monuments. Join families on the promenade as the sun sets on the Bay of Naples. View finds from Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale or revel in the art and architecture of Museo Cappella Sansevero, built in the late 1500s.

Booked this hotel for 4 nights. Run away after the first night. Should have done it immediately but we had a long trip and were very tired. - Rooms and all hotel area have cigarette smell. Apparently, staff members smoking inside. - We said about it to a manager (older guy) and that we want to move out. He became very rud and start to negotiate and make us pay more than for a 1 night. - He was not only rud, but he was also completely ignoring what I'm saying, didn't look at me and talked only to my husband. As I'm not a person at all! - And one moment he just went back to his office and ignored both of us. And Breakfast was poor. Serving man has dirty long nails. I couldn't it there.

Superb bed and breakfast located opposite Naples Central Station(one minute walk)recently opened offering panoramic rooms with all amenities like mini-bar, TV 32'', private bathroom, air conditioning , free wifi, laundry service. The B & B Paradise is 2 metro stops away from Piazza del Plebiscito and a 20-minute walk from the Historic Centre, with ferries to Capri, Ischia and Procida.
Stayed 3 months ago so I will explain all from memory - located opposite the station, not in a safe area. It's on the 5th floor of a building and there is a small elevator to take you up. You collect your keys from a coded box (my box was open?) and then you go to your room where, apparently the breakfast will be left there for you. Maybe someone stole mine or it weren't left, I don't know. You will not interact with any staff there, so do not expect to do so (which is ok with me, i'm not fussed!). 3 minutes after I arrive to the room, a fight breaks out between the homeless/drugged up people that hang around outside downstairs by the entry door. As you are gathering, it was my fault I did not research more about the accommodation before booking. Live and learn. I go for a walk to see the castle however the area around the B&B, I felt so unsafe and uncomfortable that i made it 1/4 of the way before I turned back. The streets are so dodgy and everyone around you are well aware you are a tourist. Be careful of pickpockets. I then stayed in the B&B for the whole evening and didnt leave. I booked a full day trip to see the Amalfi so that I was out of the town. When I arrived back, I do recommend going across the green to some of the restaurants I had discovered where you could have a lovely meal and glass of wine for around 10-12 euros. Wish i had discovered this the night before to be honest. There's also a reasonable cafe on the corner (come out of the apartment block, straight ahead and its the corner cafe on the left) and they do nice croissants and cakes, and the staff are friendly. I then received a message from a staff member requesting the tourist tax (funny!) to be paid. In the B&B, you have a broken vending machine and broken coffee maker. However, the room was comfortable, bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was fab. Overall, would NOT stay in this part of town again. I think i need to revisit a different part of Naples to change my mind about the city!

Very good location. Clean and tidy. Very friendly employees without any problems with communication. Kitchen available for those who like to cook. A lot of grocery stores with great local stuff nearby. Mozzarella was extraordinary... cheers :-)
