Canada’s first purpose-built, full-service convention centre, the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (CTCC) opened in 1974. Located in downtown Calgary, the CTCC has 122,000 sq. ft. of dedicated convention space, some 47,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space, five pre-function areas and 36 meeting rooms. A hub for local, national and international conventions, congresses, meetings and events, we are an integral part of the city centre. Each year, more than 250,000 people a year visit the CTCC as well as nearby shops, restaurants, businesses, services and attractions. Our facilities conveniently connect to three four-star hotels: the Hyatt Regency Calgary, the Fairmont Palliser Calgary and the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel. Owned by the City of Calgary, the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre (CTCC) is operated by the Calgary Convention Centre Authority.

Although the BMO is a huge facility that can handle a lot of people, it doesn't feel too crowded even at events like the Stampede or wedding fair this Sunday. The displays were very nice and the fashion show was well done in the adjoining hall. BMO Centre is centrally located and if you are staying in a downtown hotel, it's easy to get to. There is plenty of pay parking on site. But taking a cab, uber or c-train are also good options. Often on weekends there are more than one event going on so check the signs carefully when you get inside for the hall that your event is in. The staff at the doors are very friendly and will point you in the right direction. Just ask. The facility is very clean and has plenty of washrooms. A few small concesions sell pizza slices and other fast food and drinks. Wear comfortable clothing and good walking shoes as once inside, there is a lot of walking!! Fun place to see a lot of interesting shows and events from Arts and Crafts to the Wedding Fairs.
