The windy city is a cornucopia of modern art, fine dining, cutting edge comedy, and die-hard sports fans. Snap a photo of your reflection in the silver Cloud Gate sculpture at Millennium Park before heading to Grant Park to get hit with the refreshing spray of Buckingham Fountain. There are dozens of museums and theater companies in Chicago, so a cultural experience is never hard to find. You’re sure to laugh your head off at the Second City Theater, the professional launch pad of many famous comedians.

The best way to get to Notre Dame from Chicago on Game Day. The complete tailgate experience w/ 3 hot meals, beverages all day and a fully catered and covered tailgate with music, TV and games. All included in the price of a seat. Serving Irish and Visiting fans alike.
I went to Chicago with 7 friends and we were all going to a Notre Dame football game. We did some research and it appeared Irish Express was offering what we needed. What we did not expect is just how great the organization and service was. First, Dillon Murphy runs a great program and the food and drink is both plentiful and delicious! If you are able, please ask for Ashley and hope she is the server on your bus! You start off with a great breakfast, open bar the whole ride to Notre Dame and a great tailgate when you get there! Do not hesitate to choose The Irish Express; it’s the best way to get to Notre Dame and back! The whole experience was tremendous. It was so good, we are going back next year with more people and Irish Express will be taking us!

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) operates the nation's second largest public transportation system and covers the City of Chicago and 35 surrounding suburbs. On an average weekday, approximately 1.6 million rides are taken on the CTA. The CTA is an independent governmental agency created by state legislation. We began operating on October 1, 1947, after acquiring the properties of the Chicago Rapid Transit Company and the Chicago Surface Lines. On October 1, 1952, CTA became the sole operator of Chicago transit when it purchased the Chicago Motor Coach system. Our mission “We deliver quality, affordable transit services that link people, jobs and communities.”
We were on a 4 day visit to Chicago and used the CTA L trains to get everywhere. The blue line took us from the airport to downtown, then we rode almost every other colored train throughout the city, then the blue line back to O'Hare airport when we left. All the trains were clean. Some were crowded. All of them were super easy to navigate. All the stations were clean too. We bought a 3 day pass for each person in our group then a 1 day pass on the last day to make things easier. Don't be afraid to use the L trains. They were simple to get on and off and find the stops we needed. The CTA maps combined with Google maps were super easy to figure out as well. Never had to deal with any CTA employees so no comments on that.
