We did the 1/2 day that included a visit to Olympia, Klio's Honey Farm and a quick trip to the beach. Our driver gave us some highlights to the island, but he really wasn't a tour guide, per se. When we got to Olympia, we did have a very good guidebook, as stated in the description of the trip, that allowed us to easily navigate Olympia at our pace. Immediately after our visit, we drove up to a honey farm. Klio showed us how they gather honey and we had a honey tasting with fresh made filo. Our driver then took us to a beach area where we spent a little bit of time. Since it was not warm, we just took some pictures and went back to the ship. Overall, it was a very reasonable way to get to Olympia and to visit a honey farm.

Kos reached probably it's peak during the Roman and Hellinistic Period, and became a center of shops and commerce and a great port. Some fabulous villas with mosaics floors is a nice discover in the ancient Agora; If you visit the nice mountain Dikaios, ca. (847 m) , and the charming village Zia is very close to the mountain; a very romantic village with small narrow streets, many little shops, or visit the Monastery of Spondi; the panoramic views of the whole of Kos or also see the wonderful sunset from Zia, will be a super experience.

Also went out to Olympia, messene and the Diros caves with Aristoteleia. She was excellant and all the tours were VERY enjoyable. Would recommend paying a bit extra for the private tour and the flexibility it gives you. The extra notes that were provided for Olympia and Messene were great and very useful. Also very informative just to chat to someone about the local way of life etc. THANK YOU ARISTOTELEIA.

We booked Maki to take us to the Argyros Estate winery for wine tasting and lunch as part of our 10 year Anniversary. We was collected in Oia and on the way Maki gave us a history of the island and the winery business here. The tour and lunch of the winery was fantastic and on the transfer back Maki told us anything else we needed just to let him know transfers to airport more tours etc. Well it turned out we did need him as we changed hotels from Oia to Thira but after only 1 night of a 4 night stay the accommodation and service was terrible causing us to make the decision to move at 8.30 in the evening on our anniversary night! So we contacted Maki in the hope he could take us somewhere and he not only did but also found us fantastic alternative accommodation elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. We then also used Maki again for a tour or Pyrgos and Perissa beach plus transfer for dinner and to the airport. If you are to go to Santorini we can not recommend Maki highly enough a special holiday that was turning into a disaster was made SPECIAL again thank you Maki!
