Wow! What an amazing experience this was! Our 9 year old son has been wanting to try this for a while! & he was not disappointed, neither were myself & his dad to be fair. Pete was an amazing instructor! We were all total novices, Pete made us feel comfortable & confident so no ‘wobbles’ at the top! We all left feeling like pro’s ???? & had the most fantastic day!!!

What a great day out. Travelled with a friend on the North Wales/Chester trip in September. From boarding the coach in Manchester to arriving back, we were fed history, myths, legends, jokes and music from our excellent guide Darren. He was so informative, even including history of Manchester and it’s music. The coach was clean and comfortable, the places we visited were stunning. We will definitely use Rabbies again, small group tours an added bonus.

As a Peak District walker, even before I moved to the beautiful and charasmatic market town of Leek, the Roaches was a favourite haunt of mine, both for the awesome rock formation and the eerieness of the Lud's Church. It is a great walk for escapism with views over miles of countryside. On a good day you can see as far the mountains of Wales. Many visitors come to Leek purely to walk over the Roaches and I would love to show you a fabulous route, share my knowledge of some of the history and of course entice you with a few folk tails. Unfortunately often walkers see these delightful rocks and find their own path, ending up scrambling dangerously up the ridge. They miss the environmental friendly pathway through the rocks, the stretches of scenic moorlands, the Doxy Pool and of course the mystique woodland way to the Lud's Church. Plus of course, no visit is complete without a visit to the Roaches Tea Room. Their oatcakes; a local tradition, are just delicious. I warmly invite you

Inclusions: Walking tour of the Roaches and Lud's Church approx 10 kilometres.

Exclusions: Please bring a packed lunch and plenty water. We can meet at The Roaches Team Room, where you can purchase coffee/tea and cakes.

I really enjoyed my recent walk with Diane around the outskirts of the beautiful Tittesworth reservoir - views of the reservoir in one direction and the Roaches in the other! Well recommended!

A stunning walk down into the Churnet Valley with rippling brooks, streams and hidden walkways. Peace away from the noise of the city. Walking through the nature reserve you will hear the ring of birdsong and capture some wildlife. Great for photographers as views of the Roaches are awesome.
