We started with the boat tour in the morning. Seeing Sicily from the water was beautiful and an amazing experience. I love swimming in the crystal clear water - it definitely helped with my fear of “what’s swimming under me??” Taormina is beautiful and the knowledge and warmth our tour guide Chiara made the experience exponentially more amazing

Based on recent reviews we booked this trip VERY trepidatiously – it was the only departure that was convenient for us and we braced ourselves for a really hectic experience. In the event, the boat was about two thirds empty and there was no scrum to get on or off. We saw other boats offering similar departures that were really busy so I think it's just the luck of the draw in terms of how busy your boat is. The boat left and arrived on time from each of its departure points and the commentary was really useful as well as being crystal clear in terms of when the next departure was. The islands are absolutely beautiful and sitting for around an hour watching Stromboli erupt was a unique experience, and €50 per adult (our four year old travelled free) is really good value. FWIW, we were told that parking in Milazzo hasn't been policed for the last five years so you can park in any spot that isn't marked in yellow (handicapped spots). We parked in a two hour spot and returned to our car that evening with no problems. Also consider taking ginger tablets of some kind of seasickness medication as even waters that look calm can end up a little choppy. Sit on the boat's lower levels for a more comfortable ride!

This was a well organised ‘tour’. I use the inverted commas as it’s basically a taxi service to each island. The boat was clean and well manned. For some reason our tour was cut short by about an hr so we didn’t have as long on each island as we thought.

Great couple of hours taking part in Italian cooking! See as it was during Covid-19, my partner and I were the only participants. We were greeted by Luca and offered coffee while they prepared the kitchen for us. We helped make bread, learnt how to make macaroni and of course, pizza! we had 2 breaks - and at each, we ate what we made and had a litre of house wine! The macaroni was made into '"pasta alla norma'' and it was my favourite dish of the course. They even emailed us the recipes after. I highly recommend doing this class, it's a cool way to experience with locals.
