À 25km de Montpellier, à la limite du Gard et de l’Hérault, au coeur de la zone d’Appellation du Pic-Saint-Loup : Mas Gourdou. La propriété, dans la famille depuis la révolution française, s’étend sur les communes de Valfaunès et Sauteyrargues. Les vignes sont plantés sur de petites parcelles au milieu des forêts de chênes verts, de pins d’Alep, entourées de plantes méditerranéennes (romarin, thym, arbousier, lavande) qui contribuent aux arômes des vins. Au pied des montages de l’Horus, à 150mètres d’altitude, les terres sont abritées des vents froids du Nord, du Mistral et de la Tramontane. Leur exposition au sud-est leur permet de profiter au maximum de l’ensoleillement du Sud de la France. L’encépagement est composé essentiellement de Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Grenache Blanc, Marsanne & Roussane.
