Just missed 9:10 am 8/27/19 so had breakfast at Mainsail. Waitress said ferry may be running "wild" meaning more than hourly. Professional loading unloading and cheap roundtrip $16 driver, passenger, car. Did the Cheecheeman at Tobermory Ontario a couple years ago and PEI so this was a little puddle jumper. Enjoyed the Rock golf

After spending a night at DeTour State Forest Campground, we decided to take a drive in to DeTour; we saw a sign for the botanical gardens and pulled in to the parking lot. So glad we did! We loved walking around the gardens. Beautiful! Such a lovely spot and so peaceful. There are lots of unique benches, some along the water, if you want to sit for a bit and take in the lovely surroundings. Lots of memorials to those who are no longer with us. Kudos to all those who maintain these amazing botanical gardens.
