Union Gap is a city in Yakima County, Washington, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 6,047. Union Gap has a storied history and in recent years has become the retail hub for the entire Yakima Valley as a result of Valley Mall and other thriving businesses being located here. Part of the city is part of the Yakama Nation.

Fullbright Park is a 60+ acre park with a Disc Golf Course, covered shelters, picnic sites, a concert stage, a playground area and an electronic remote control airplane flight area. The park is adjacent to the popular Central Washington Ag Museum and numerous events throughout the year occur at Fullbright and at the Ag Museum. The highlight event is Old Town Days and the Civil War Reenactment each Father's Day weekend. This event will be kicked off in 2019 with "Suns, Sips and Suds" on Friday evening, a 3 band event complete with a craft brewing area. Saturday and Sunday is the annual reenactment with over 400 reenactors contributing all weekend long. Other events throughout the year include a Plowing Bee, Car Shows, the Pioneer Power Show & Swap Meet and much more. Come enjoy our 15 hole disc golf course, people love it because you're playing across acres of grass and not next to busy roads. Fullbright Park is a great place to have birthday parties, family reunions and more.
The Yakima Valley Genealogical Society operates one of the largest genealogical research libraries on the west coast. The library has over 18,000 volumes of research material on the shelves and has over 6,000 rolls of records on microfilm and 6,000 microfiche of research material. The library is open to the public 6 hours a day, six days a week free of charge to the public.
