We spent four nights at the Cottonwoods Campground at Navajo Lake State Park. It is south of the lake on the San Jaun river near the town of Navajo Dam. The campground is a little removed from the main park but that makes it all the nicer. It is relatively quiet and private back a 2 mile or so dirt road. The sites are roomy and easy to get in even with a larger rig. Easy river access and some great trails and hikes in the area. We would definitely return in the future for a longer stay.
